Beautiful bits of art.
Presentation in the cases were so colorful and each one symmetrically perfect.
Very crowded with locals and visitors taking selfies.

One of my favorite things about Paris is grabbing a pain au chocolate for breakfast as you head out on the town.We really enjoyed the pastries here.

Definitely one of the favorited places in Paris for Macaroons! Its a tiny shop inside a pharmacy. But beloved by all locals in Paris

If you are looking for a gift to take home with you or just something nice to eat as you walk around Paris, the macaroons at Pierre Hermé are some of the best you will find in Paris. Expect to pay a premium and queue but it's worth it :)

Delicious macarons and other pastries! Their signature is the Mogador, a chocolate-passion fruit mix, but their list is teeming with interesting flavors and combinations. Surprisingly good is the rose, which really tastes like the flower, and the sublime salted caramel. There's also a location tucked away in the Marais (rue Saint-Croix de la Bretonnerie) if you're in that area and looking for your macaron fix!

In my opinion Pierre Hermé makes the BEST macarons! Im in love with the Mogador macaron which mixes creamy milk chocolate with passion fruit! All of the macarons are delicious and combine exotic and surprising ingredients. A real treat is buying a few (or a box) on a sunny day and enjoying them in the Jardin de Tuileries just down the street!

I am surprised at how few people know of Pierre Herme in the United States. The patisseries are better than Laduree by a mile. Beautifully crafted desserts that aren't overly sweet (like Laduree). The macaroons are a favorite here and almost resemble tiny cakes compared your traditional macaroon.

As excellent as everyone says, this pastry shop has achieved a cult following and the one major deterrent at this point is the always endless line, stretching as far as a block from the shop entrance, at times. If you are die-hard about macaroons, stick out the wait, but if you are not truly dedicated to your Pierre Herme mission, you might end up feeling letdown, by the time you get inside. If you are not willing to wait, but want something similar, walk a couple of blocks to victor Hugo on rue chomel.

Without a doubt the best patisserie in Paris. Whimsical creations that look great and taste even better. Pierre took macaroons to a new level.

There are several Pierre Herme stores in Paris. Some may argue that the original store in the Saint-Germain des Prés area should be THE one to visit. For me, there is something to be said about admiring (and eating of course) beautifully and deliciously created macrons AND macrons bonbons...and then stroll down the street to see the most beautiful store of an iconic brand created by a woman pioneer in the fashion world, Ms. Coco Chanel. That's love and happiness. Reasons # 24 and # 132 why I heart Paris.
