Decadent macarons like no other. So much variety makes it so hard to choose you'll want to try it all! Yum :)

The first salted caramel macaron I had from Pierre Herme was one of the best things I had ever eaten. Far better than Lauderee or others. The macarons have a very short shelf life though. You have to eat them right away or within a few hours. The next day they were nowhere near as good and 2 days later inedible. So buy and enjoy right away!

I visit this place every single time I'm in Paris. I adore Pierre Hermé chocolates and macarons. There is simply nothing like them. Even Laduree pales in comparison for me. I love the inventive and sometimes weird flavors as well as my favorites (Mogodor--chocolate and passion fruit!)
The chocolates are reasonably priced, delicious and beautiful. The service is prompt, efficient and multi-lingual (the assistants at this location usually speak English, French and Japanese).

Many people flock to Paris for Ladurée macarons, but in my opinion, the student has surpassed the master! Pierre Hermé's macaron menu includes some classic, but far more interesting are the unique flavor combinations like grapefruit and wasabi or white truffle. You can select the ones you like -- it's rather like being in a fancy jewelry shop. Eat them as fresh as possible... macarons do not keep.

One of the things that French excel is their pastries and desserts and Pierre Herme is no exception. Just looking at it makes you want to munch one straight away.

I prefer Ladurre but Pierre Herme is the other close contender for best macaroon in the city. A little more inventive and modern than Laduree but I prefer the classics when it comes to macaroons.

Definitely among the crème de la crème of Parisian chocolatier & macaroon boutiques. The macaroons are delish but IMHO Maison Georges macaroons are tastier.

Better than Lauderee and with much more interesting flavor combinations. It was so good we had to go every day we were in Paris to try a new macaron. Even the chocolates are exquisite! There is time and consideration in everything the store offers, including the people who work there and the bags used for take home products.

THE. MOST. AMAZING. MACARONS!!! I tried a few different stores selling macarons in Paris and this place was by far the best. Every single one is so amazingly distinct and flavorful. It's a must try!!

This place has amazing macarons, cakes and pastries.
The line might be long sometimes, but it's well worth it.
There's also a nice place to sit next to the store and eat up Pierre Herme goodies.

There's something incredible that happens once a year at all of the 7 (or maybe 8) Pierre Herme stores in Paris. It's called macaroon day. You can travel to all the Pierre Hermes and get up to three macaroon free. If you manage to get to all 7 or 8 that day, they give you a years supply! Now that's a day well spent!

Get in lines that stretch down the block for some of the best macarons in the world. And, while you are it, check out some of the other creations of the 'Picasso of Pastry', Pierre Herme. This store feels more like a boutique for treats, and everything I've had has been très fantastique.

The macaroons here are AMAZING. We went to the location in Le Marais and LOVED it. The Salted Caramel is my favorite but also try the passion fruit. Oh. my. goodness. Good.
