To avoid. Not a baker (has not the right to write "boulangerie" on the facade. Only "bread heater"

Local from Paris

A French chain of bakeries specialising in serving fresh products including bread, crepes, macarons, cakes and pastries. Just the smell of freshly cooked bread will be enough to allure you into the bakery. The perfect place to go if you need some revision snacks. Bon appétit!

Paul is a classic in Paris, a faithful option for a sandwich and/or pastry for lunch on the go. Though its popularity is going global, there are few things as Parisian as grabbing a bite at Paul and taking it to-go to the nearest park.

The authentic French bakery which has its success in France and now spreading globally. Eating beautiful pastries in the heart of Paris, it's just trés belle.

Paul is a chain bakery, very popular in France and it's my favorite for a quick lunch or take away sandwich. Most Pauls don't have a sitting area, but some offer a complete lunch with salads, omelets and quiches. Their olive bread is the best and also make sure you try the pain au chocolat et amandes, it's divine!

Other people seemed to have had good experiences but I was not impressed. They were very rude to us and seemed like they couldn't be bothered to take our order. And I did not like the coffee.

It's the Starbucks of Paris, with baguettes and croissants to boot. But it is so much better than Starbucks with the quality of the food.

It's everywhere in Paris!!!!! It's a bit expensive, and I don't like the sandwiches, but they have ok "pain au chocolat" and "croissants". Ah! The "quiche Lorraine" and some "chocolate pie" I tried it was nice too. Well, Paul is one of those places is a safe option to go for a coffee or some snack, it's not extraordinary but it's nice.

Paul is a popular bakery featured throughout Paris. Paul does have their own little bakeries, but you'll often see Paul at stands in the metro. It's convenient if you're in transit and need to grab something quick and delicious to eat.

They are everywhere. For a good quick meal, I'd recommend it but for something more unique and traditionally French I would not.

It is a chain so it really doesn't matter where you buy your lunch!
