different due to the composition of the hotel from several original buildings. The views couldn't be better, particularly from the top floor clubhouse, from which you'll be able to see the famous Paris Opera Garnier. The perfect home base for exploring Paris' luxurious Right Bank shops and cultural sights.

Spent the first few days of my honeymoon here! The service was impeccable! I can't wait to return!

This hotel, open since 1862, certainly lives up to the title of 'grand' with a gorgeous, ornate décor complete with golden stylings and luxurious amenities. With over 500 rooms it can feel like a bit of maze, but once you get your head around it it's beyond luxurious, bedrooms equipped with large beds, a bathtub, mini-bar and plenty of storage space. There's a spa to avail of and, best of all, the La Verrière restaurant that sits beneath a pyramidal glass roof at the heart of the hotel. The 800m2 room is a dream to sit in, with natural light shining through over the tables. Right by Paris's most renowned Opera house and within walking distance of many of Paris's sights, the location is ideal. The staff are helpful and friendly too. Le Grand is the height of luxury and not to be missed by anyone who can afford it!

This hotel is like it's own city, it had so many things going on I was lost finding the reception desk. If you book here, I recommend getting a room with a view of the Opera. The balcony is unconventionally long, and the hotel lights up the Opera building so it's pure magic to see at night. You really feel like a royal here, the staff caters to your every need and every corner looks like you're in a palace. I recommend having dinner at one of their famous restaurant's Cafe de la Paix, it's a wonderful experience!

Amazingly grandiose hotel facing the beautiful Opéra Garnier and basically taking up an entire city block! With two restaurants (one of them is the legendary Café de la Paix!), a spa that offers a range of services including a “jetlag massage” and a beautiful winter garden where you can sip a cocktail after a long day of sightseeing, this is a hotel for those of you wanting to experience true luxury. Of course the service is impeccable and staff aim to fulfill your every desire. The rooms have a regal feeling with lush patterns and antique furniture. You can have a view of the Opéra Garnier or some even have views of the Eiffel Tower. You are in the center of Paris and lots of sights and shopping are within walking distance.

Very luxurious hotel right across the road from the Opera. I liked the giant multi-coloured bonbons splashed around the lounge and reception, a modern pop-art design that contrasted with the building's belle-epoque style. The restaurant in this hotel happens to be the Cafe de la Paix, one of the most renowned cafes in Paris. The rooms were sober and but very comfortable and fully equipped, with pleasant views over the rooftops of the city. The most amazing thing about this hotel was the spa, which was equipped for a royal treatment and included hammam, sauna, and fitness center.

This hotel is so sumptuous and beautiful you'll never want to leave! The concierge told me it was built in 1862, but it has all of the modern comforts you could need. Because the building is so old, all of the rooms are slightly different. Some have balconies, some have views over the interior courtyard and others over the street. There is a private club on the top views with amazing views over the Opéra and an all-day buffet that you can access if you let them know when you're booking your room.

Gorgeous hotel. The lobby is very "grand". The location is great. It is right by the opera house and Galeries Lafayette.

I didn't stay here, but I had lunch here after I visited the nearby Palais Garnier. It was a good lunch in a beautiful building.
