Very close to the accomodations. The Tombs of the Kings is a large necropolis lying about two kilometres north of Paphos harbour in Cyprus. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Great for familes all children love to go exploring, take plenty of water with you this site has very little shade unless you are in the tombs themselves.

The Tombs of the Kings are a fascinating UNESCO World Heritage Site, dating from ancient times and easily accessible within Paphos.

a wonderful collection of ancient burial tombs. The entrance fee is low and well worth a visit if you like historic sites that offer something different. The sea views are beautiful from the Tombs.

Busy area with plenty of shops and bars, plus can go down to the Lighthouse and Beach Bar, also look around the architectural sites.

This is most definitely a must when visiting Cyprus.
Experience the culture and last resting places of Kings, stroll around huge tombs, indulge your self in raw history.
Once again a stones throw from Regina Gardens.

Interesting, deep, extensive and ancient tomb complex not far from Paphos. A good place to take the kids for a bit of culture when they get bored of the beaches

UNESCO cultural heritage in the west of Cyprus near Paphos: In the royal tombs, no kings were buried, but civil servants. Despite this small limitation: The rocks with their structures in underground caves are definitely exciting. However, signs are often missing, so that it is not always clear what exactly it is. Travel guide or even better to join a guide is recommended.

The Tombs of the Kings have their name to aristocratic officials who, due to their high position, could theoretically be considered kings. The area is also called "Necropolis" and is a huge open area that extends to the sea and is worth visiting not only to walk inside the graves but also to get away from the noise of the city. The ticket costs just 2.50 euros. In the summer, have a hat and water with you because the heat is stuffy.

Magnificent tombs carved into the rocks, a unique sight that leaves you with your mouth open. Others more and others less well preserved, all of which cover a huge area and create a unique spectacle. It is not a coincidence that their name is due to their greatness as they are in fact funerary monuments to officials. Just be careful when you visit them as the summer is hot and I would also like explanatory signs with more information.
