life as a grand celebration, a feast of the senses to be shared and treasured. Together, artists found kinship over meals shared on appetizer-sized plates, over drink, music, and conversation. One of the things that truly makes CAFÉ TU TU TANGO unique is our menu. Not only do we serve up creative fare that captures exotic flavors from around the world, but we do so in small, appetizer-sized portions that were meant to be shared.

Cafe Tu Tu Tango is a fun and funky tapas place. Come with a small group and share several platters in lively atmosphere. Sometimes there is live music and live artists paintings, usually on weekends. There is cool art all over the restaurant.

I've been here twice for takeout and to dine-in several years later, and both times the food was very good. Although the food is served as small plates, it's not Spanish cuisine. It's kind of a mish mash of contemporary American comfort food with a fusion of world cuisines. Example dishes include Argentinaean Style Orange Chimmimchurri Steak servved with Grits and Cajun Chicken Egg Rolls.

What a great tapas restaurant! I thought it would be overpriced and bad since it's on I-Drive but I was wrong. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Completely barking mad! But fun!! Art for sale on all the walls, belly dancers, tarot readers, decibel level through the roof on a busy service. It's all tapas sized plates and the few times we have eaten there the food was good. Dynamite Shrimp stands out. Some innovative drinks too. Can be expensive as the little dishes go down quick and easy but it's good fun. No reservations so get there early to avoid a line.

New York City

Proclaimed as “Food for the Starving Artist,” Café Tu Tu Tango is fifty percent art gallery, fifty percent hors d’oeuvres, and one hundred percent fun. The building is modeled after Barcelona art lofts, featuring vibrant colours and shifting exhibitions from local artists. Many artists also come here to work, and you can watch them paint while you eat. The menu is a diverse sampling of appetizers, which makes it great for sharing with friends and tasting new dishes. Be sure to try their Dynamite Shrimp, which is crisped to perfection and glazed in a tangy, sweet chili sauce.
