My father's side of the family is Nigerian and when he passed away I spent 2 weeks in his hometown in Nigeria as well as a city named Aba. Though Nigeria is FULL of corruption, it's a beautiful city to see and it was exciting to take in such a different culture. You definitely should know someone there before you go.
