themselves, and enough electronic billboards to overload even the most entertainment-jaded eyes. Sometimes called the 'Crossroads of the World,' Times Square hosts the United States' most famous New Year's Eve party -- arrive early to stake out your spot. In the last few years, the area has become decidedly more pedestrian friendly with mini-parks in place of what used to be parking and roadways. Come, sit a spell, and watch the beautiful madness that is New York City play out in front of you. It's the best show on Broadway.

I love shopping near Times Square! Definitely worth a trip. My understanding is locals are not that enthused by it but for tourists it really is a must see and must do. Plus, parts of New York don’t charge taxes on clothes purchased under a certain amount ☺️

Times Square is one of those magical places you hear about, go, and kind of are on to the next thing. I think that it’s super touristy but it still has this magic about it. Bright lights, big city kind of vibe!

Times Square was everything and nothing like I expected at the same time. It was dirty, over flowing with ppl, and had the same stores on every corner, BUT the lights made it cool. It was gritty and there nothing luxurious about the place

It was such an awesome experience. I had a great time shopping moving and shaking with all the holiday traffic. It was so pretty with all the lights. My family truly enjoyed time square and so did I.

The "Center of the Universe" - Time Square is something everyone should experience at least once....in all honesty there is so much more to NYC than just Time Square. Go explore off the beaten path and what isn't in the tour books!

Gorgeous day and night! Definitely better to travel by foot or public transportation, as street parking is difficult and parking is super expansive.

I love this place, they've got the BEST spots for food, and for nightlife, also some REALLY cool LGBTQ+ clubs. I love living in NY you get the best of both worlds. The comfort of the suburbs and a wild city! If you ever go to NYC MAKE SURE YOU GO TO 179 E 86th St on the East Side. BEST SPOT FOR HOT DOGS it's called Papaya King ❤️❤️

This place is just so filled with life. No matter what time of day or night it is there are so many others just enjoying being right here. I haven't been here when the ball drops (soon), but I can imagine how it's like if on any given weekend it's packed. Definitely need to go here if your visiting.

Wild, chaotic and choked with tourists. Did enjoy that a stretch of Broadway was closed for a Street festival with lots of food options and other vendors.
Hyper commercialized, pulsating with a vibrant clash of sights, sounds and smells.

Not where we'd like to spend a lot of time, but certainly sonethinfcquintessially NY, and must be seen.

Times Square will take your breath away the moment you set foot in it. There's so much to see you'll be staring at everything only to have to come back to really take everything in.
