This place such a great stop when exploring Manhattan. I visited in November and they and they had the ice-rink open, though i'm not sure if it is open year-round.

Wandering through Rockefeller Center while in New York is a must. Even more so during Christmas! It’s really pretty but always crowded. So you’ll be fighting for pictures... but that’s New York for you! We didn’t ice skate there because it was so expensive and rink was tiny. Not sure why you would want to waste money on that... there were so many ice rinks in the area.

Historic, beautiful, and changes with the seasons. Always worth a visit to Roc Center. Enjoy the views, the thoughtful gardening, the entertainment, and the luxurious shopping. Don't miss La Maison du Chocolat for chocolate lovers!

I don't know why I pictured this skating rink to be so massive and it's not! On a very cold day, it is very uncomfortable to walk around here or even skate as it is outside! There is a lot of shopping nearby! If you need to get kid's clothes, go to H&M and not Gap! The prices are so expensive at Gap for kids and if you are traveling and just need to pick up something for the trip, H&M is better and still nice!

One of the best views in New York, that includes the Empire State Building, in my opinion. You get 360 views that span across Central Park and the rest of New York. Highly recommend!

It's an iconic place, be aware tourist congestion can be really awful. Try the rock, best sunset ever on NYC.

This place is beyond words at times. Do you always meet new people ...no,but close to Christmas time there is so many people gathered around to see what all the fuss is about...and the beauty never disappoints.

Great place to check out Art Deco design, and people watch.

View from Top of the Rock is truly stunning, vistas north of Central Park and beyond, and of Empire State building and the rest of lower Manhattan, and the harbour in the distance.

This is a very popular tourist attraction, especially during the Christmas and New Years holiday. There is an ice skating rink, you can watch the Christmas tree get lit, and see/listen to live concerts. There are also 200+ flagpoles lined up at the plaza on the street level.

Must see during Christmas when they have the tree up! Although, ice skating is quite expensive to do right here!!

Picturesque square with the main area turning into a skating rink during winters. There's the only Nintendo store in the world around the corner.

Slightly overrated but what's a visit to New York if you haven't visited Rockefeller center. Primary came here to go to the Top Of the Rock which I would HIGHLY recommend if you're making a visit here anyways.

Rockefeller is something you hear about on television, movies, radio so it was cool to actually be there. The ice skating rink was something nice to see too.
