Open 365 days a year, the iconic Empire State Building was for many years the world's tallest building. Completed in 1931, it has long lost this claim to fame, but remains a majestic and impressive ... Read more
Big Apple landmark known the world over. The building is lit up at night, often color coordinating for popular holidays. The observatory is one of the best places to view Manhattan's cityscape - tickets can be bought online or in the lobby.

Certainly worth a trip up! The lines are long, of course, but definitely worth a visit to see a view of new york.

Nice view, choose to go day or night but if you can go on both. Buy online to avoid long lines

It's a great sight to see, but not worth the trip to the top. It's over priced. The views are nice but not worth paying $50+ for it. You can definitely get some better views at rooftops bars. There's a ton of history here and if you have a big group, you can definitely get some discount pricing. But small groups will get charged the "normal" prices.

A stunning institution of NYC buildings. Remember the 2 entrances so you aren't stuck behind the massive crowds! A must-visit for all visitors and locals :) Steer clear of the fast food chains and walk a few blocks over to Koreatown for your lunch, you'll thank me :)

The queues in this place in the height of summer are the WORST . Last time I went was February and it was great we had the place to ourselves practically, only went to the 84th floor ,or is it 86?I've been here roughly 5 times but never at night, will be back again in 2018 hoping to see it at night

The Empire State Building is an American cultural icon. It is designed in the distinctive Art Deco style and has been named as one of Seven Wondets of the Modern World by the American Society of Civil Engineers.

I enjoyed the whole experience maybe because it reminded me of "Sleepless in Seattle" maybe!!! But it was very busy during that day.

It maybe an icon of all skyscrapers built all around the world and not just New York and the views are truly awe inspiring but if you have to go up it at night, wait until at least 11 at night. I made the mistake of going at 9 o'clock at night and it was dreadful. The line of tourists was far too long and up top you are fighting with everyone else for photos, and tourists aren't the most forgiving people in the world.

While you do have to pay a bit to go up to the top, it provides such a beautiful view of the city and the surrounding areas from early morning to late at night.

Tallest building in Manhattan's mid-town. The lines are long, but the view is worth every minute!

The Empire State Building is one of the most recognized historical buildings in NYC. Depending upon the season, it changes colors to celebrate the moment. You can't get all the way to the top, but 80 plus floors up still gives a spectacular view of the city day or night. I can't help but think of the romantic meaning from An Affair to Remember and later in Sleepless in Seattle..just watch where you are walking!

80, 86, and 102 are all the tour floors available. Each one has something different. All of them have incredible views of the entire city. Windows completely encompass every floor so you can't miss a thing! The 86th floor also has an outdoor observation area!
