There’s a lot to see here and worth a visit, especially in poor weather. Could do with some refurbishment I think. Not much for younger kids.

This museum is SUPER kid-friendly! I would like to take my kids here some day. Tons of dinosaur skeletons too!

Best dinosaur exhibit outside of the Smithsonian in DC. Quicker to get into than the MET even on busy days with maximum crowds. Also suggested donation.

Absolutely love this museum and I always make sure to take first timers here on their visit. It's so fun and there's always a new exhibit popping up giving you plenty to do. And it doesn't take up the whole day either. Definitely recommend bringing families and friends here!

I LOVE the AMNH, one of my favourites. We spent about 3.5 hours here but I could have stayed longer . The space auditorium experience was amazing, never experienced anything like it. I would go back time and time again and still find something new to interest me

American Museum of Natural History is a must see institution for all families. It's probably best seen over two days as it's huge and very popular

So much to learn from this museum. My favorite is the cavemen exhibit and the solar exhibit.

Great for kids and science and nature lovers of all ages! We love the butterfly exhibit (hands-on!), the Dinosaurs and the Planetarium shows. They also have fantastic science movies.

Pro tip: the admission fee is just a suggested donation, so budget travelers should go up to the desk and donate whatever you feel is appropriate/what you can afford. Really cool if you like animals.

We love this Museum, a lot of walking though so be prepared! We usually can't see the whole place in one visit and the waiting in line to get in can be hectic sometimes

Since I was a child I've always loved coming the museum of natural history to see the dinosaurs lol... Recently (during the first week of January) I've gone and enjoyed the butterfly exhibit ☺️

This place is my favorite location second to Cloisters. Budget friendly as you can pay what you can afford at ticket counter (online tickets are around 20+ usd) Recommend that you pick a great soundtrack, plop headphones in, and wander this vast museum taking in everything. It was honestly the most breathtaking experience listening to classical scores wandering about alone. ❤️❤️

This is the best place to go on a date or spend on a rainy day. Theres so much things to see. If you're planning to see the whole museum, I highly suggest you start early in the day.

Definitely worth going, but plan to spend a lot of time here. It's a big museum and if you want to read about the items it can take a while. I spent 3 hours and barely got through a quarter of the museum.
