Gorgeous hotel that has retained its unique history but is now a Marriott. Rooms are decently sized for NY standards. Be aware that there is a daily fee but it includes things like a Citi Bike rental, dry cleaning credit, and happy hour.

This is a good hotel in Mid Town. The bathrooms are tiny but if your Marriott Elite they have free breakfast with Starbucks coffee and an afternoon social today is a Bourbon Tasting :) They also have a full Starbucks in the hotel.

Rooms here are fairly bright and have small sitting areas. The bathrooms are quite cramped—when you open the door, you have to squeeze in and shut it to get into the shower. The furnishings and décor are fun with pops of colorful and Art Deco accents. More bad news though: restoration of the hotel’s façade will be going on for at least the next year, this according to the staff. A sign at the reception desk alerts guests, but does not give a termination date. There is a fitness center on the 3rd floor and Raffles, an American bistro, is also attached to the hotel.

Active lobby area with plenty of plugs ins to work on line or FB! Nice rooms. Hotel has some history and feels like Ny. While my friend was there on business, I walked all over the city just from this location. Plenty to see within walking distance.

The smell of coffee in the lounge is absolutely incredible. I'd stay there just for the coffee! And there were lots of people in business suits sitting around in the downstairs lounge, chatting with each other or working on their laptops.

The Lex is a boutique style, art deco space that's great for business travelers. It's an old hotel (1929) but it was recently renovated. It has 3 meeting rooms, a Chinese restaurant, an American diner, and the lobby bar. It's also a great location for visiting Rockefeller or Grand Central.

The Radisson, also known as the Lexington New York offers WiFi paid parking wheelchair accessibility and decent pricing. It does have a fitness center and multitudes of dining in every direction (including an in-house Starbucks). Aesthetically, this is the perfect balance of modern high-concept (an update to the 70s "mod" here and there) with more traditional classiness. The prices seem to be well below the norm compared to hotels of the like in the area averaging around 165 a night, and you are right by public transportation so getting where you need to get to is easy. The lobby is nice and clean with an art deco motif, as are the rooms. The staff is kind and attentive, willing to point your way around town and help you get the most out of your trip. Being in walking distance to Rockefeller center, this will probably book up pretty fast come the holidays so be sure to book well in advance!

While the Radisson Lexington Hotel was reasonably priced and conveniently located, I found it to be very crampled quarters, and the hallway on our floor had a very nasty smell.

When I used to travel to NYC on business, this is where I usually stayed...even on an expense account, money doesn't go far when it comes to NY hotels, but this one always had more reasonable prices than the west. Plus it's convenient to the subway and I do like the hotels period details that have been preserved. The only real drawback is how tiny the rooms are. Now my philosophy is usually that I will rarely spend time in the room since I am working or playing, but honestly the bathrooms as so tiny that you might bump your elbow into the wall trying to turn around. Great value, but tiny rooms.
