We just checked in and it’s better than Vegas. The place is huge and, at first sight, intimidating but you’ll get used to it fast. The koi pond was cool but the waterfall, is nice. It’s kid friendly but not for babies if you get a room with a balcony. We initially booked a room with a king size bed, but ended up with two queen size beds. Bathroom is kinda smaller than what I’m used to but it’ll work. Besides, I didn’t come for the bathroom, lol. We’re going to have a great time! Second anniversary......

Initial reaction to the non-automated doors upon arriving was unsettling, and the atrium inside appeared dated. The support staff was very accommodating and a pleasure to deal with. We received a discounted nightly rate, but that rate seemed fitting for what it is. The hotel lacked many amenities that were often found in other convention center type venues and overall, I was unimpressed. The grounds were clean, the room however was not. Our bedsheets had gum on them, and even after telling housekeeping that we'd like a linen change, that didn't occur over the 3 night stay. Also, the bathroom toilet was not sanitized to common acceptable standards. Overall, I was just not impressed with my first stay at a Gaylord Hotel, I guess I just expected something better.

This place is a site to see, especially at Christmas with all the trees lit and the decorations inside. The huge solarium has a river running through it, and bridges and boats and restaurants within... There are ballrooms and special performances by world famous artists.

This place is amazing to see and walk through their unbelievable indoor gardens. There are three rooms to visit, one has a 1/4 mile indoor river with flatboats. Ask us and we can tell you how to visit for free.

This entire complex is enclosed and you feel like you are outside. Great place for a vacation or if you want good atmosphere for a wedding. Many places to eat and shop- can be $$$$ but wort the trip.

No wordy description or filtered smartphone photo can quite prepare you for how it feels to first explore such an immense enclosure. If the sheer size does not impress, doing so surrounded by rich green foliage and displays of natural beauty surely will.

Great place to be surrounded by nature no matter the weather outside, free to walk around, beautiful real plants, seasonal decorations in the winter.

There are some good places to eat inside the hotel and best of all is the indoor Garden which was re-created after the big flood. This is a very relaxing place to relax after shopping til you drop at Opry Mills Mall.

The gardens here are super cool! Definitely recommend checking out the three giant gardens and eating along the water if you can.

The Opryland Hotel has something for everyone and every age all year long! The scenery is spectacular year round and the Christmas lights are a local and international attraction. The restaurants are a must try for foodies! Christmas brings family fun with more activities and attractions then you could do in a weekend vacation. Romance sparks in the indoor gardens but I'd avoid Christmas if you're not interested in being in a congested, busy, and child filled atmosphere!!! When I say Christmas I am referring to Thanksgiving through New Years!

Opryland is a huge draw for many of those who are looking to visit Nashville. Located right outside the downtown area, about ten minutes, Opryland is absolutely gorgeous. It’s a garden inside a glass dome/conservatory, perfect if you’re looking to walk around with kids and just hang out. There are quite a few business conferences that come through here as well, so you may find yourself in the middle of a convention. Right near the mall, close to quite a few hotels (even as a hotel itself) and not too far from the crazy of downtown.

The Opryland is rather old and very famous to the city of Nashville. The gigantic hotel is beautiful and the indoor gardens are nice to walk through in the mornings. However, the rooms are not as nice as you might expect for the price.

Great day trip in Nashville lovely gardens to walk through cute boutiques to shop in great restaurants to eat in. I recommend the Jack Daniel's restaurant and across the parking lot is a huge shopping mall and of course the historic Grand ol' Opry

I really enjoyed visiting at night. Taking the boat ride through the atrium at night is beautiful with all of the lights.

This place is beautiful. It's worth stopping to see and it's next door to the grand ole opry. Lots of shops and restaurants inside the atriums. Took me over an hour just to walk to site. Has a riverboat that goes through the main garden for $9.50. It was free to walk the atriums.

My sister-in-law recommended this place as a quick spot to see before being dropped off at the airport. Wow, am I so glad we went!
The complex has three main areas (well, that we could see, there could be more). One is the delta area with an indoor river with riverboat along with shops and restaurants on an island surrounded by the river. The cascades area has several waterfalls that you can go through and restaurants with a view. The garden area has several small gardens with water features. The place was also decked out for the holidays with twinkling lights, Christmas trees and other opulent decorations. Thirty minutes wasn't enough to see everything. We'll definitely be coming back!

I have never seen anything like this before! Not only is there a shopping centre, jungle and numerous waterfalls inside the hotel, a river-boat cruise also operates...INSIDE THE HOTEL!! Needs to be seen to be believed and you don't need to be a guest to walk around.
