Beautiful hotel! We were amazed when we walked in. It's close to the glutch and downtown so everything is walking distance. If you want to take a hop on hop off tour it picks up right in front of the hotel. Rooms were a good size if you get the rooms on the bottom floors. The rooms were clean, bed was comfortable and the staff was super nice. Definitely stay here IG:@missericayvette

This is not only a neat hotel, but one that stretches back into the mid-nineteenth century. Rooms are fairly pricey, so you’re going to want to book only if you’re celebrating something super fancy or aren’t too concerned with the pocketbook. There are multiple stories about ghosts and haunts walking the halls which only adds to the neat experience. It’s right downtown, so you’re walking distance to bars and honkytonks, plus you’re able to rest in a beautiful space after a long night in style.

Union Station Hotel is a restored train station in the heart of Nashville. It's ready for a refresh, including paint and carpet, but worth a visit.

Where the Union Station Hotel really shines is its public and event spaces. The rooms are nice, but are awkward sizes & layouts (because of the unique challenges of building a hotel in an old train station) and are decorated in a contemporary style that doesn't quite fit the rest of the hotel. The lobby is breathtaking; the central hall of Nashville's most important transit hub for hundreds of years. Even if you don't stay here, it's worth a trip just to take a gander at the lobby.

Austin

Originally constructed as a train station in 1900, the Union Station Hotel (whose dramatic exterior looks like an opulent 19th century cathedral) is an impressive option for Nashville visitors. Interiors are equally grand, with historic elements, like stained glass and high-vaulted atriums, but the 125 guest rooms feature all the modern comforts of a luxury hotel. The stylish Prime 108 Restaurant and Lounge are also popular for weekend cocktails.

Once a railroad station, this grand gothic building now operates as a luxurious hotel in the heart of Nashville...but not without some otherworldly guests that never left.

There are several stories of hauntings that seem to tie to the train tracks. It is reported that occasionally, on a night with a full moon, a ghost locomotive will pull into the station. Another spirit that allegedly haunts the hotel is that of a woman who met her demise on the tracks after she fell in front of an oncoming train. It is reported that room 711 has a lot of strange activity, but they do not book specific rooms.

This hotel was inaugurated in 1986 instead of the train station which strated operating in 1900. This is why the main hall is really unique and astonishing. The hotel is really elegant and even though you won't sleep here it would be a good idea also having a quick look.fantastic!

The Union Station is a historical building that was once a train station which has been turned into a large hotel in downtown Nashville. The lobby is a beautiful example of Nashville's history. The hotel stays true to its roots through touches like a train departure and arrival board behind the front desk. The rest of the hotel has some historical touches, but is mostly contemporary. The rooms are beautiful and I really like the color scheme. However, they don't exactly take you back in time to a bygone era. I got to stay here on the first night of my honeymoon. The staff was friendly and helpful and my new husband I liked how close we were to downtown restaurants. Union Station is near the freeway so it didn't take us very long to get to the airport either.
The fitness center has quite a few machines and the business center has a few printers in it. I thought it was nice that each station in the business center was semiprivate. The Union Station has a bar attached to it called The Flying Saucer. They have a giant beer list, but are often out of many of them. The service is also very slow. You might enjoy walking downtown to one of the many many bars just down the street instead.
