Really nice Hampton Inn near the heart of downtown Nashville. You can't beat the location of this hotel. Great if you're looking to walk to Music Row to hit some of the honky tonk bars for drinks and live music (it's a 5-10 minute walk away). Right across the street from the Country Music Hall of Fame and a block away from the NHL arena if you're here for a Predators game. The biggest negative is that with the location comes expensive parking -- it's valet only and is $38 per night! Those are downtown Los Angeles prices!

I was upgraded to a larger room since I'm a Diamond Member and my room was spacious and extremely comfortable. I had two king sized beds, a nice sitting area with sofa, and a large workspace. The bathroom was way too small considering the room size, however. You have to make sure you shut the door before using the toilet because the door, when open, blocked the toilet paper holder. Very cramped.

The overall hotel was in great condition. Everything about this place felt new and renovated, and I was very happy with my stay.

I also love that the air conditioning works great. I was cool and was able to set the temperature to 60 degrees which made for a very sound sleep although it was hot and humid outside.

The lobby is casually swanky and a great place to hang out. They have free hot tea and coffee 24/7 and in the late morning to early evening, there is freshly brewed Luzianne iced tea available (both sweet and unsweet) and cookies too!

One of my favorite things about the Hampton Inn is that unlike a lot of chains, it's actually pretty consistent. You know what to expect when you go to a Hampton Inn and the one downtown doesn't let you down at all. They offer complimentary newspapers, an extensive free, hot breakfast, free coffee and tea are available in the lobby 24/7 and they put out free lemonade every afternoon. All that and they're located in the heart of downtown, within walking distance of almost every attraction and right, smack across the street from the Country Music Hall of Fame.

What an unassuming little gem! This Hampton Inn is tucked between some of the biggest attractions in downtown including the Country Music Hall of Fame, the Schermerhorn Symphony Center, and the new convention center! Enjoy a massive, free, hot breakfast with your stay, or grab a doggie bag with a muffin and fruit if you're in a rush. Take a dip in the indoor pool or hot tub. Take advantage of the fully equipped fitness center. Or, if you're like me, just sit back and relax on your bed. Since the area is currently being developed, there may be some noise during your stay. There is a parking garage on-sight, and you are a stone's throw from lower Broadway.

I am a huge Hampton Inn fan. The chain remembers my preferences and they start the great experience immediately. The entrance, which sits away from the street, has coffee right outside in the drive! Being right in the heart of downtown, the lobby and rooms are a little smaller than average, but the space they do have is beautiful and contemporary. This is a great location. It is right across the street from the new Music City Center and a block from the Country Music Hall of Fame and Hatch Print Show. It is two blocks from the hoppin' Broadway Honky Tonks, but sits back just a bit so it is quiet in the hotel. Perfect! Also, it is really close to the walking bridge and the most stunning views of the city.

If you want a room with a balcony downtown, there is literally only one place you can go - The Hampton Inn & Suites. I'm not sure what the laws are that restrict balconies, but the Hampton Inn & Suites is the only one that has them. Like all Hampton Inns they've also got an amazing hot breakfast with all the trimmings. If you don't have time to stick around and eat, they've got little doggie bags with muffines and fruit for guests to take with them, which is a nice touch.
The Hampton Inn & Suites is right across the street from where the new convention center and Omni Hotel are going to be, so it's a great place to stay downtown if you want something that's within walking distance of a lot of things (including lower broad, the Country Music Hall of Fame, Schermerhorn, and The Rutledge is literally right across the street) but that is far enough from the noisiest parts of downtown that you can get a decent night's sleep. The Hampton Inn & Suites doesn't put on airs. It's just a quiet, clean, comfortable place to sleep with a friendly staff. It's also located right across the river from East Nashville, home to a lot of great shops and restaurants, and close to several of Nashville's best hot chicken restaurants, including 400 Degrees and Prince's

The Hampton Inn and Suites is in a great location for several reasons. They are close enough to walk downtown, and you can also hop on Korean Veterans Boulevard which will take you directly into artsy East Nashville via a brief drive. They are also just a few streets over from Jack White's Third Man Records. However, the most important sites they are near are two of my favorite restaurants - 400 degrees hot chicken (just one street up from the hotel) and Arnold's ( a southern restaurant on 8th avenue). 400 degrees and Arnold's are great for lunch, but you should stay in the hotel for the complementary breakfast bar. This breakfast is worth waking up for and is sure to cure any of your aliments from honky toning downtown the night before. You will not leave unsatisfied after feasting on biscuits and gravy, oatmeal with fruit and nuts, hot waffles, bacon, omelets, and fresh fruit. After breakfast, you can go to the fitness room which has a variety of machines, or take a dip in the indoor pool.
A real highlight of the hotel is that every room has a balcony and they're not puny little "balconies" they are actual open air, sit with your friends balconies. The suites have even larger balconies than the standard rooms. The corner suites have two sinks and a dining area with a large countertop next to the living area. They also have a tub and shower. All of the rooms are bright and have great natural light.
Overall, the Hampton Inn and Suites is a flexible hotel close to downtown attractions with a very welcoming staff. I would highly recommend it.
