This hotel has been renamed in recent years, most recently called the Hotel Premier Coliseum, it has undergone intensive renovations and now is known as the Clarion Hotel. It was super clean, mainly because it has been redone so many times in the last couple of years. It’s in a bit of a scummy part of downtown, wouldn’t recommend, but spitting distance from the stadium. The hospitality team was fairly nice. Nothing over the top, but the bedrooms were clean and the beds were very soft and welcoming. They looked really welcoming, which means a lot if you’re just finishing up a long, touristy day downtown. There’s free wifi for business folk, and I was really glad about the continental breakfast. It’s not a crazy huge spread but fairly solid for something that’s hot and complimentary. There’s also a pool, but you’re so close to the highway I don’t think the stay would be all that relaxing.
If you're staying at the Hotel Premier anytime soon, you're staying in a brand new hotel. I can't think of any real downfalls of this place. It's currently undergoing renovations and everything looks great. It even smells new. It's spacious and you can tell that when everything is finished it will have a real luxury feel. The staff was extremely friendly and happy to point out all the new parts of the hotel, which is basically the whole thing. The indoor pool, business center, restaurant and bar should be open for business by January.
Formerly a Days Inn hotel, Premier Coliseum is undergoing extensive renovations. Titans fans or game-goers: this hotel is located within walking distance of the stadium, so it's definitely a great option for your stay! You're not too far from any of the downtown action, and a short interstate drive to Opryland.
The hotel is in a great location- walking distance to the football stadium and all of downtown with free parking. It is great if you are going to a football game at LP Field or if you are running in one of the numerous 5K's in town. The hotel was recently purchased by a new company so it is getting a head to toe remodeling, which it needs. I look forward to seeing how the improvements work out.
