Strategic position! In Porta Venezia quarter! This place is perfect for people who are going to spend some days in Milan and want to do some shopping or enjoy the nightlife.
All around you there are restaurants and lounge bars, clubs and shops and, for who is interested, Via Monte Napoleone, the major fashion street, is very very close.
Rooms look modern, but they have some trouble with the furnishing, it was old and ruined and it need a replacement. Lack in the attentions in details. Dust over the television, concentration of limestone in the shower stall and in the sink, need more energy during the cleaning!
Breakfast with different choices, not that bad! A positive point, besides the positions, is the staff, very kind and accommodating. I can say is good value for money, but even if the hotel has three stars it needs to deserve it and improve the service!

Great location! Eurohotel is located in Porta Venezia, a lovely, historic area in downtown Milan, bursting with bars and restaurants. It's super close to Corso Buenos Aires, one of the longest shopping streets in Milan with about three kilometers of shops to visit. Other major attractions like Cathedral Square, Piazza Duomo, Via Montenapoleone and Via della Spiga are only about a 10-minute walk away. And for those attractions that are too far to walk, you're also close to public transportation. The Metro Red Line, the railway and tram lines are only 50 meters from the front door. EuroHotel offers a full buffet breakfast with hot and cold dishes, and even vegetarian, gluten-free and lactose-free options. There is also a wine and coffee bar and a full wellness area with relaxing treatments and therapies.

Eurohotel has many more (hidden) qualities than you would ever expect from the outside. Despite having only three stars, it is definitely much more comfortable than many other hotels in Milan that claim to have four stars. The best thing is unquestionably the little patio with the garden and bucolic scenes on the walls, breakfast is served there and I really could not imagine a better place where to start off a nice sightseeing day. Rooms are fairly big and clean and nicely done, but if you really want to feel like you are in a big, fancy hotel, you should definitely ask for an Extra. It has space (and a lot of that), a balcony and a two-floor-bathroom where the second floor is completely covered in a gigantic, blue hot tub. Nothing to envy to more expensive places.

From outside the place looks like a first-category hotel, something that has got what it takes to make a great place where to stay. Once inside, I found Eurohotel to be slightly insignificant, flat and with no character at all. The only thing that was different was the Extra room (they consider it a suite, I would rather not), but which, I felt, had no reason for existence. I mean, what is the purpose of such a big and expensive room in a hotel like this one? It is clearly a business hotel rather than a tourist one. The Jacuzzi was the only positive thing in that guestroom, but a big hot tub is not all it takes to make a suite. The furniture and the parquet that seemed to grow everywhere were also just a little too heavy and suffocating. The price was good, considering the location and the place.

So, after my gaff at my last hotel in Milan, I decided to spring for a private room with A/C-- a definite must in Milan during the summer! This hotel is pretty standard, with a few flourishes. Included breakfast is nice, though it's generally a typical Italian breakfast (read: nothing fancy), clean rooms... pretty standard hotel. The location is close to an underground line, so that's nice for getting around the city (though the center IS within walking distance). It's also quite near to a main shopping drag.
