It was great, but I'd much rather have those poor animals live in their natural environment. Worth the visit

Founded in 1955, the Miami Seaquarium is the oldest oceanarium in the US. It is a must see for everyone who wants to explore close up what kind of fish and animals the surrounding ocean world has to offer. One of the main attractions is the orca whale Lolita - target of harsh criticism by animal rights activists but also star for many Miami school children and tourists who squeal with laughter when they get splashed by this humongous creature. Next to the animal shows, Seaquarium also offers close up encounters with dolphins and seals, the underwater walking tour Sea Trek Reef Encounter, a splash playground and Sharky’s Sky Trail, a climbing course overlooking the other attractions.

Regardless of how you feel about the ethics of caging animals, the Miami se aquarium provides a really fun educational experience for kids and adults. Honestly, the dolphin show is just fun.

How can an apparently cool app, promote a place where intelligent mammals are slaved for the cheap entertaining of humans? Ap place that have been holding a protected endangered Orca, in a very small pool, by herself for 43 years? Orcas are highly intelligent social animal that is know to travel 100 miles a day with her entire family and that lives for more than 80 years in the wild. Shame on this travel application. Technology without ethics is no good news for the future of humanity.

Where to start ; parking 8$ (park across the street instead), and 42$ to get in !!!!!!! hard to read brochure and map but did not matter cause place is small, the 20 minute dolphin show was mostly someone talking and talking, the dolphins did swim underwater and around the pool but only jumped a couple times, really boring. 5 large Manatees are in a concrete hole filled with water, no natural habitat of any kind, Based on the quality of the dolphin show, We did not bother waiting for the other shows

If your kids are looking to get closer to the animals that live in the sea in Miami, the Seaquarium is the place to take them to experience shows, hands on fun, and animal encounters. Get splashed during the Sea Lion Show, swim with dolphins, or even take a closer look at crocodiles! No matter what sea animals your kids are waiting to see, they are guaranteed to have a great time!

We had a wonderful experience at the Miami Seaquarium!

We did the Sea Trek Reef Encounter which was a one of kind unique experience - we loved everything about it! The staff was wonderful, the facilities were clean, and the actual diving was so much fun! We got the chance to feed sting rays and an array of fish, pet an eel, and see a sea turtle! Something you can't so easily do in a natural habitat diving experience. I highly recommend this experience to anyone!

We spent the rest of the day at the Seaquarium. We walked around the different exhibits and watched the 4 main shows that are shown throughout the day and we really enjoyed them! As mentioned by other reviewers, yes there are some aesthetics that can be done to some parts of the park but over all it was all very clean and well looked after, especially the animal habitats.

We really enjoyed our day at the Miami Seaquarium and recommend this park to others as well!

Fun place to go with kids - dolphin shows, killer whales, the works. Its like a slightly smaller version of Sea World. I used to come here when I was a kid and loved it - its nice now to go back with my own.

The Miami Seaquarium is a 38-acre (15 ha) oceanarium located on the island of Virginia Key in Biscayne Bay, Miami-Dade County, Florida, United States and is located near downtown Miami. Founded in 1955, it is the oldest oceanarium in the United States. In addition to marine mammals, the Miami Seaquarium houses fish, sharks, sea turtles, birds, reptiles, and manatees. The park offers daily presentations and hosts overnight camps, events for boy scouts, and group programs. Over 500,000 people visit the facility annually. The park has around 225 employees, and its lease payments and taxes make it the third-largest contributor to Miami-Dade County’s revenue.

This place is amazing. Made an appt a few days prior to swim with the Dolphins. That had to have been one of the coolest experiences in my life.

We were provided lockers and wetsuits and after a brief orientation were led to the dolphin pools.

It is a must do activity if you're in Miami - just over 30 minutes in the pool had a lot of interaction time with the Dolphins - I would do it again in a heart beat.
