Nice hotel with a rooftop pool - in the midst of lots of high rises but taxis available just outside.

I had a nice stay here. Hotel is well located close to I95 and the highway to Miami Beach. Rooms are comfortable with big bathrooms. Amenities are good so as their SPA. You can walk to Cipriani and other restaurants from the Hotel. I would stay here again.

The Viceroy is a luxury hotel with cosmopolitan flare, perfect for the young trendsetters of Brickell or the romantic rendezvous into town. The amenities in this towering skyscraper are what make it upscale -- like a HUGE spa area, a gym that could rival commercial gyms in NYC, and a long rooftop pool. Hint, keep an eye out for rooftop yoga because it is the perfect way to get a great stretch while overlooking the bay. Also the Saturday Rooftop pool parties attract a ton of locals and a ton of floating beach balls. Also for the nightclub kids, Club 50 is attached to the building which is a posh, almost exclusive hotel frequented by Miami Elite. (Girls, don't even try to get in wearing flats). The rooms have an interesting decor, sort of anthropologie meets Pier 1 Imports. I'd suggest a weekday stay if you want to miss all the craziness this hotel can produce every weekend.

For a hotel in the heart of Miami’s banking district, this is one overly stylized hotel. In some places—like the entrance, where Polynesian statues loom over you—I thought it was overdone, but once I was inside my room, the rich turquoise color scheme and black lacquered furniture felt more residential. Kitchenettes mean you can enjoy coffee in bed without interruption, although it’s definitely worth getting up for a swim. When the pool deck was empty, I found swimming beneath towering skyscrapers in the 300-foot infinity pool creepy—but the smaller pool at Club 50, on the 50th floor, felt more relaxed. (Before the brunch party started.) Don’t miss the Spa at Viceroy: it’s designed by Philippe Starck and has a room full of plunge pools yanked straight out of scene in Alice in Wonderland.

Pulling up to the Viceroy for the first time, I found myself confused as to whether I was in upscale downtown Miami or some horrific manifestation of Disney World. With the Easter Island statues on the outside, and the kimono-draped attendants on the inside, I couldn't tell if I was supposed to be in Polynesia or the Far East. Yet, I love a bit of juxtaposition and surprise in an outing, so despite the hodgepodge of funky design influences, I found myself connecting with this hotel. It's definitely funkier than most of what you'll find in the downtown area, yet at the same time it's quiet, refined and all the amenities are there. The upper story Club 50 pool lounge is a dream and almost worth the stay here in and of itself.

Largest pool in Miami? Ok

Spent the past weekend at the Viceroy in Miami and coming from NYC was very much pleased with the space in the single bedrooms. The decor was fabulous and the bathroom was definitely a highlight! Spa and gym were also amazing!

Overall the service was a bit dissapointing. Although everyone was EXTREMELYYYY nice, they were also veryyyyy slow.

Great for my trip but probably will try something else next time!

Loved the look of the rooms which felt really artsy. Don't miss out on the pool which is def one of the best around. One of the best places I ever stayed in.

A fantastic hotel. The staff goes out of their way to make you feel like royalty and the design and decor is amazing.

Take one of the junior suites and you will enjoy a fantastic view - even from the bath tub.

Highly recommendable. We will be back for sure.
