Maui remains a top destination for those seeking paradise in the Hawaiian archipelago. The west-facing shores of Maui, sheltered from the tradewinds, are most popular among vacationers. In west Maui, the historic port town of Lahaina is the cultural center of the island, with a fantastic choice of shopping and restaurants along its main stretch. ... Read more
North from Lahaina, Kanapali and Kapalua are resort towns with high-rise hotels stretching along perfect beaches. The south Maui town of Kihei offers some of the nicest snorkeling options on the island. If you’re looking for adventures away from the beach, try going for a drive on the Hana Highway, or watching the sunrise from atop a volcano in Haleakala National Park. Paia, on Maui’s north shore, is home to the island's laid-back surf culture as well as fantastic restaurants.

Maui has two high seasons: the winter, when mainlanders flock to its sunnier and hotter (78F/25C) shores, and the summer, when families take advantage of school vacations. The irony is that the best times to go ... Read more
are actually the spring and fall, when winter rains won’t spoil your tanning time and the summer’s 90F (32C) days won’t leave you searching for air conditioning. This is also the time when you’ll get the best hotel rates and airfare. Do keep in mind that the island is full of microclimates, so while it may look like there are clear skies from your hotel in Lahaina, if you decide to take a trip into the interior, you might need to bring an umbrella.

My favorite Hawaiian Island by far. Maybe one of my favorite places in the world. We continue to go back here every few years. There is so much to see and do from the Road to Hana, Iao Needle, day trips to Lanai, Old Lahaina Luau, snorkeling, waterfall searching, blow hole hiking, helicopter tours, sunrise on top of a volcano and much more. Trust me, you can't go wrong or get board traveling here.

One of the eight Hawaiian Islands, Maui is most known for Haleakala - House of the Rising Sun. Get to the top of this extinct volcano and watch the sunrise! Rent a bike and ride downhill!

When visiting the island of Maui you have to take the road to Hana. Pack a lunch because there are no restaurants or food areas along the way. Sometimes the locals set up a little snack shop but nothing big. Be careful though, they also called this the divorce Road.

Maui no ka'oi. Maui is the best. Best beaches:Kaanapali and Napili. You must hike the Pipiwai trail. Drive Hana Highway. Go with Pacific Whale Foundation. Must have Ululani's.

Maui is one of the most beautiful islands in Hawaii. You can choose from a low-key laid back day of sitting on the beach and sipping Mai Tais while reading a book to paddle boarding and snorkeling in some of the best spots in the islands. There's a little bit of everything for everyone in Maui from Luxury and nightlife to family and budget!
