caught my attention. That one spot is gorgeous with all that yellow and gold colors and that antique ceiling. The only weird funny thing is, that Chinese people think the fake canals inside is a fortune fountain or so. Most of the river is covered with coins... mhh.. ok.

Has everything you need, from casinos, luxurious hotels, high-class shopping to fine dining restaurants. You’ll definitely enjoy wandering inside the interconnected resorts. Oh, and I found this app called iGoMacau, you might want to use this, it has an indoor map, so you won’t get lost

This hotel was huge. It want on forever. We enjoyed the gondola ride even though the wait was an hour long. Good variety of different foods offered in the food court.

I didn't have a chance to stay here but visited its humongous mall underground. It was amazing!

If you're after the glitzy casino experience, this hotel is conveniently connected to the Grand Canal Shoppes. You could shop, try your hand at the casino, and dine at the many food outlets that open till late. Easy peasy, and rooms are styled according to the "Venetian" theme - divine. Buffet breakfast usually comes with the room rate, and is a good international spread.

This is the biggest casino in the world, even though it carry many of the same design as the vegas one, it got more shops and style in this one. Definite worth to visit when you in Macau, to gamble or not.

It's nearly a carbon copy of its Las Vegas counterpart; just like the original, this hotel has the grand canal, canal shoppes, and that memorable Italian façade beneath a ceaseless blue sky. The Winter on Cotai performances are quite entertaining with acts in rapid succession. There's a band here, Blue Note (hoping I remember the name correctly), that's all-around awesome - great sounds, great audience rapport, great group dynamic. The biggest downside of this hotel is it's away from most everything you'll want to see in Macau; the bright side is that it provides frequent buses to and from the hotel. (It's just a short ride.)

Simply beautiful. Get a panoramic shot with the hotel in the background at night. Plenty of work gone into the decor of this hotel and it looks very grand.

Hosts high end brands of shops inside.
Not sure if any had surpassed yet, but it's apparently the biggest hotel so far.

Well I've never been to Vegas so I can't compare it, but I was rather impressed with the Venetian in Macao! Enjoyed a bit of gambling and walking around the shops near the fake canal... fun.

Located in the Las Vegas of Asia, the Venetian in Macau (Macao) is similar to the same name hotel/casino in Las Vegas. It has a shopping center with the renaissance themed ceiling and an indoor river with gondolas.

As far as the hotel/casino, it is a large property. Though much more relaxed than Las Vegas. You can take a free casino bus to the Venetian from the ferry terminal. There are also buses at the Venetian which can take you to other casino properties in Macau if you would prefer not to go straight back to the ferry.

I did some gambling here and I was pleased that I didn't have to convert my Hong Kong dollars to Macanese patacas (the local currency). You can simply insert HKD when playing on the slots. I actually won some money here which was returned in HKD as well. Used my winnings to pick up some yummy beef jerky at Koi Kei.

As far as hotel/casinos go in Macau, the Venetian is at the top of the list.

Big room, excellent decor, good bed, decent price, and great bathroom. The smallest room is royal suite, can sleep 4 people using their sofa bed. The bigger room, bella suite, can fit 6 people using sofa bed. Plenty of food place and shopping arcade. The best hotel in Macau.

Arguably the best hotel I have ever stayed at hands down. 5 star treatment, free upgrade and a birthday cake waiting at the suite. The Veronica suite was humongous, the bathroom was spacious, the garden was impecably clean and the view was downright gorgeous! Next time you want to pamper yourself, this is definitely the way to go! The staff was very courteous, waiting for you hand and feet. It is on the steep side but its a one of a kind experience well worth your hard earned money. ❤

Depending upon your view of 'gambling', and such views can be extreme, the Venetian Macau may seem to some like hell on Earth. It is vast and 'over-the-top', indeed there is 'no top' !! But ..... if you are a shop-aholic, or a fashionista, you will find as great a retail range as you might find anywhere. The hotel rooms are as vast as the Casino, and bearing in mind the heavy usage by 'all sorts', astonishingly clean and well presented. The in-room dining is better than Vegas, and, if you want a recommendation, the Portuguese food in the 'Madeira' Restaurant in the Mall is really good (Well, it was on 28th May '12)

Personally enjoy the casino in this hotel but I find their fake sky painted ceilings a little bit weird. That being said, it's fine if your purposes are just to hit up the casino. It's got good variety, free water, and relatively new tables.
