Paper Tiger Bar is the newest bar in Koreantown. This is not a very big bad but was nicely design. It has great drinks and the atmosphere make it good for event and also clubbing.

They also has some bar food as well and they are pretty good. I believe they have happy hour and definite great way to get here first time so you can get comfortable.

This past year I've found myself always going to Korea town for all the incredible food and more so now for their booming nightlife. Paper Tiger is another major win for the Ktown area and LA in general as it has unique ambiance, decor, great curation of open format DJ's, divine cocktails, and solid food bites. Their cocktail menu is top notch and I was super excited that they also offered mezcal! The vibes here are definitely more intimate but there is still room to move around between the two rooms. The really utilize the space here cleverly and well.

The staircase mural upon entering is a marvelous sight to see and the midnight star room with the DJ booth really feels like you are under the night skies. Paper Tiger is definitely one of my new favorite lounges/speakeasies in LA!

came here for an awesome trip.com event that offered amazing bites. beats. and babes.

very unassuming from the outside: drove past it and didn't notice. but I like hidden gems like that. in case you are wondering: it's on the corner of beverly and western.

parking was a non-issue. ample street parking. granted I did go on a wednesday. so you're on your own weekend warriors.

charming little place with two rooms: main bar. and side room.

the main bar room theme is victorian. and even sports a hanging mr. toad picture (shout out to the most disturbing children's ride in disneyland). so that's fun.

but the side room was my favorite. with black couches and a star-lit ceiling.

overall: dug the dim lighting and dark atmosphere. and definitely did not hurt that the drinks were delicious to thrown down the hatch.

cheers.

I wasn't sure what to expect going in. This is definitely a hidden gem in the city of Koreatown. You wouldn't expect much based on the area it's in, but once you walk in you would be pleasantly suprised. It's a small space which only gives more credit to how well they utilized it. Inside you're greeted with a huge mural of Victorian Stairs that make for a great picture. From there, to your right you will see a well-lit and beautiful full bar. Over to the left is what I liked the most. Sleek black cushioned walls & seating illuminated with dim white lights which sets a cozy but luxurious atmosphere.
Don't knock it because its small.

Size doesn't matter, its how you use it!

Great sized bar and nighclub in K-town, steps away from those late night Korean bbq joints we all hit up. Really nice ambience and atmosphere. Cold drinks and great food too!

It used to be called Bobby London, but now it's called Paper Tiger Bar. The inside looks like it has a fresh coat of wallpaper. Very decorative in the main entrance and the first room with the bar and small stage. In the next room, everything is in black and booths are in this blue velvet on the bench and wall covering. The ceiling is showing the night sky with stars twinkling away. The restrooms are past the bar with a sliding door. It would barely fit two people in here even though it may suggest more.

First stop was at the bar for our first drinks. There were a few vodka drinks and a few more with whiskey. What caught my eye was the Bloody Mary but all the drinks are around $13-$15. When I told the bartender what I wanted, he asked if it was still ok and if I wanted it because the Bloody Mary is in a can and not made to order. For the prices, I would prefer freshly made to order. It certainly had lots of spice to it and thick enough like it was made to order. Fresh Brother's pizza and the large chicken wings were provided. The skewers, the vegetarian rolls, tater tots, and banh mi are from Paper Tiger's kitchen. The large chicken wings are covered in a teriyaki type glaze, tater tots with a dipping sauce, chips and salsa, lots of pizza. They also made fried plantains which tasted like fried bananas. I'm not a fan in general so that's why it tasted like just bananas to me. With minimalistic Victorian decor, this place has transformed into a place tucked away in the corner of Koreatown with a dark mysterious ambiance. If you speed down Beverly or Western, you will surely miss this speakeasy type place.

Very fun speakeasy with pretty decor and great vibes! They had great DJs, ambient lighting, velvet seating, a dance floor, and the food was delicious. Plenty of street parking around within in a block or 2 from this place.

Don't blink or you'll miss this small Ktown gem on the corner of Western and Beverley (it's next to Ethical Drugs. If you're a Ktown resident, you'll know what I'm talking about).

This place was formerly Bobby London which to many folks I spoke to,seemed to be a place where some had some very memorable (or not memorable nights). Nevertheless the Paper Tiger left a strong impression.

There's two main areas, the front bar and side lounge which lit with ceiling stars; (look up when you go and you'll see what I mean). The whole place carries a Victorian, upscale (but very approachable) vibe. What I liked most was my interaction with the owner, Mark. Mark was super accommodating, checking in multiple times and making sure my party had what they needed. I learned he was actually a former sound engineer and custom built the new sound system at Paper Tiger too.

I was invited here for a Trip.com event produced by the local Los Angeles Community Manager. Everyone was great and super friendly, dj was on point, and they were featuring drink specials. Definitely will be coming back sometime soon to get my boogie on. Doesn't make it any easier that I live right down to the street from it. : )

Love this Victorian bar, hidden in the secret valleys of Korea town where drinking is a sport. Why not stop by Paper Tiger Bar for some delicious cocktails enjoy the ambiance. I loved the midnight star room where the dj spins, it really feels as if you're partying outdoors under the stars!

An intimate Victorian Speakeasy in the middle of K-town. The interior decor was inspired by disneylands Mr. Toad ride. Paper Tiger is another cool spot in Ktown with unique ambiance and decor. They also serve some bar foods. Drinks are all 13-15.

Nice cool bar that is like a speakeasy on the corner of western and beverly with free street parking in the area if you can find it. Drinks avg around $13-14 but are made with nice liquor and not the cheap stuff. Decor is very old school Victorian age. Pretty dark atmosphere so hard to take photos of anything with your phone. They also serve some bar foods.

Really dope venue. There's almost a 19th century vintage aesthetic to the place. Eerie and charming, a great time at the Trip event.

Nice Victorian manor decor. It's based on Mr. Toad's Wild Ride at Disneyland from what I heard. Small, intimate; probably a great spot for a date as well. Friendly staff and great cocktails. The El Rey cocktail was probably my favorite. Not in the main hustle areas of Koreatown, so i found the street parking to be fairly easy.
