I always hit up this place every time I’m in LA to support PK! If you haven’t seen his stand up yet, you need to.

The world famous Laugh Factory was on their A-game last night where PK and the gang made everyone have an amazing time.

I got on a guestlist and cover charge was waived, but I still had to order either 2 items whether drinks or food. Wine options are limited, but drinks weren't bad. Service was good, at least to the best of their ability between comedians. Parking is very difficult to non-existent, a designated paid lot available, but only open during a small window period. Best to just take Uber or Lyft.

We live right down the street from here, the shows are great. We saw our first show when ken jeong had a special there, I haven't laughed that hard in a long time. The only thing that sucks is there is a 3 drink minimum. So if you're not a drinker prepare to spend 4 dollars on bottled water. Lol

Fun place to catch a few knee slapping laughs with drinks. alcohol content isn't too great here so I would suggests ore gaming at home before hand. The food is tolerable but nothing too delicious.

I had a great time here. Very fun show
Their drinks were awesome! If you're in the mood for a night out outside of the club scene this is a fun thing to do!

Here's the skinny on the free comp ticket when you check in on Yelp:
Check in. Go to the box office and ask for the ticket. They tell yoy that you have to call ahead of time in order for you to save a spot on their next comedy show. Restrictions will most likely apply.
You have to redeem this with the cashier before they seat you.

There are two lines. The lines directly in front of Laugh Factory is for VIP or folks who paid an extra $10 for early seating. Get there early because the 2nd line (general admission) will wrap around the building. General admission is first come, first serve.

There's a two drink minimum. The servers are quick to pounce on you, so don't think you're going to get away without getting your two drink minimum.

I was out with the boys celebrating my bro's birthday. The comedians were all great. I've never heckled a comedian before but this comedienne actually called out to the crowd asking to be heckled. So I responded "Your p#ssy is so loose, it's the only thing clapping at your jokes. The crowd roared with laughter and the comedienne gave me props.

What a fun night. As a bonus Dane Cook performed and we were able to stay for the midnight show without being charged or asked to buy more drinks.

In 1979, after a dispute over club owners refusing to pay comedians, a then 16 year old Jamie Masada recognized the need for a new venue for comedians to perform. After obtaining a loan of $10,000 from Neal Israel, he opened the Laugh Factory in Hollywood in a building formerly belonging to Groucho Marx. Richard Pryor was the first comedian to perform on the now famous Laugh Factory stage. When Jamie attempted to pay him, Pryor instead handed him a $100 bill and wrote on it, “You need this for your rent, boy.” Since then, the list of comedians who have performed there has grown endless. In 2007, Dane Cook and Dave Chapelle rivaled to best the Endurance Record set by Richard Pryor in 1980, when he performed stand-up for 2 hours and 41 minutes. Dane Cook first beat the record in 2007 with a 3 hour and 50 minute stand-up performance. Dave Chapelle dropped by 5 days later to steal the title with a 6 hour and 7 minute performance, that he bested himself later that year by 5 minutes. The following month, Dane Cook regained the title by treating the audience to 7 hour and 34 minutes. Comedy fans hope the challenges continue!
