Great place to chill, grab a drink, have a bun, and have a good time. The pork belly bun is definitely the one to get. Price is a smidge high so be prepared if you have a big appetite.

The Bun Shop has awesome food and service! We made it just on time right before happy hour ended (7pm) on a Friday evening. It's an order and pay first setup, then find an open table with your number. The ambience is hip and cool with dark wood paneling and barstool seating. There are also big screen tvs in the dining area as well as in the open kitchen. When we went they had the NBA finals playing. As for the food, we all agreed the Kalbi bun was the best, out of the ones we tried (pork belly bun and katsu bun). The chicken wings, sweet potato fries and bacon cheesy corn were also very delicious! We plan to come back again to try the other items on the menu!

We came here to get the custard bun! The custard bun was okay, there was also some popcorn underneath it. I think I've had better type of buns in the SGV area. There is parking on residential streets and metered parking around.

Gets me full when ordering the burger. I also ordered the bacorn with cheese which is not meant for one person but I finished it and it felt fattening. Total came out to be around $15 when burger is 7.50 which was good and $1 extra for egg and more for bacon added. Other than that, the bun shop is known for its buns in specialty made combinations like kalbi, pork belly, katsu, etc. It's a little pricy at $3.75 per pun and it's about the size of your palm. Two for 6.75 and three for $9.

Yet another food-truck-turned-brick-and-mortar restaurant popping up in LA. This new addition to Ktown is a great place to stop for some Korean fusion eats.

I stopped in for lunch and the whole place was mostly empty. They have a parking lot about 2 doors down that they share with a Korean catering company, which is nice. They have menus up on the counter and you order before seating.

They have several side dishes but I was mostly there to try the buns. My favorite was the spicy pig bun. I also enjoyed the pork belly bun. The kalbi bun was just alright to me. You can get it was a 1, 2, or 3 buns combo. We chose to have ours with garlic fries and sweet potato fries.

We also tried the bacon cheese corn. It was really delicious and had tons of bacon and cheese in it. The dish was enough for a few people to share because it's pretty rich.

They serve beer and wine as well. They had a few beer selections on tap, which I liked. I had one of their hefeweizens and enjoyed it. They also serve your Korean favorites like soju, makgeolli, and korean beers.

The service is okay. The food does take a little bit to come out. The atmosphere is very casual.

I'd mostly only come here for the happy hour or it may be overpriced for the food you're getting. I think HH is from 4-7? But I would call to ask ahead. Lots of parking around the residential areas.
