dish. For cocktails we ordered a half bowl of Blackballing berry punch. It was strong and okay on flavor. Nothing amazing other than it being only $25 and we were able to get at least 6 full glasses from it. Great value. The draw to this place is the pool in the back and it feels like eating at someone's home.

SUNDAY FUNDAY with my fun yelp elites and eleechers ;)

All I remember from this gathering were the delicious fruity fambam punch bowls (get the orange one), filling breakfast food, and majority of us (plus a stranger holding my hand) jumping into the pool with clothes on to get 50% discount on our food. SOOOO MUCHHHH FUNNNNNN!!! Thanks Queenie for suggesting this place :) Fingers crossed they kept their promises and put our names onto the plaque.

FOOD:
I don't remember what I had.

TIP:
- Bring some clothes to change into if you're planning on jumping into the pool. They will have towels for you to use.
- They claimed that the food is comp'd if you jump into the pool with your phone. Putting the phone into a water proof bag does not count :(
- Park across the street or pay the meter on the streets.
- They mentioned that your name will be added to a plaque on the wall outside. You have to email someone, ask the server for their email address.
- Depending on the server, you may or may not take your shoes off when you jump into the pool. My tip is take it off and don't ask.

I've passed by the Farmer's Daughter Hotel a million times on my way to the farmer's market and have always been intrigued by it's kitschy cool design, but never had a reason to go in until last night when I was invited to check out their restaurant Tart! Awesome. Truly an LA hidden gem that you must check out.

The cool retro decor with it's assortment of knick-knacks and tchotckies dotting the restaurant gives the place a lived-in feel that's both comfortable and intimate, perfect for a low-key date night. The bar scene is mellow and served a creative collection of cocktails. I had the Moscow Mule and the Old Whistler and the Smoky Paloma and Scouts Honor and the...you get the point. I'm pleased to report they all work!

The evening was a bit cool, but we sat comfortably outside near their roaring fire with plenty of space heaters to keep the whole area toasty! The outdoor area is situated inside a courtyard and you feel like you're inside a hidden oasis.

The American/Southern menu is as equally superb as the decor. With my large group I was able to sample a large assortment of the menu. We started with a decadent Chiccarron fries which were paired with the cripsy fried Brussel Sprouts! Yum. We also had a pulled pork slide and a pork belly slide. Both excellent, but if i had to choose only one, I'd get the pork belly slider. Pro-tip: I recommend coming with a group so you can share! We capped the meal with a jam stuffed beignet.

If you come in a group, I recommend that you try one of their punch bowls to share! They have a Tea Punch, a Blackballing Punch and my favorite the Whole Family Punch with Peach Vodka, Champagne and Orange Juice!!!!

While dinner is deliciously low-key, I look forward to coming back and checking out their Brunch, which I hear can be quite busy, but worth the wait! Enjoy!!!

They have brunch EVERY DAY from 11-4 and bottomless mimosas are $15. The food is well prepared and service is excellent.

Ended up at Tart after mulling over several options. My friends and I were spending the day in LA and wanted to start off with brunch. We considered Blu Jam (http://www.yelp.com/biz/…) and Griddle Cafe (http://www.yelp.com/biz/…). After some debate we decided to on Griddle Cafe, but when we arrive we didn't want to deal with the line. I suggested we eat at Tart, because our next planned stop was Fonuts (http://www.yelp.com/biz/fonuts-los-angeles-2#hrid:-i5xcmOMMoUh8-fB62GUGQ), which was conveniently close to Tart.

When we arrived at Tart we were quickly seated. The staff was very attentive and polite. The only minor complaint is that the messed up my friends toast order (giving him wheat instead of the English Muffin he ordered) .

The food was good. I ordered the corn beef hash. It was really tasty. The corn beef was freshly shredded corn beef. However I feel the meat to potato ratio wasn't the best. I wish the had more meat relative to the large amounts of hash browns.

Overall decent experience. Not a bad place to dine for a nice quick breakfast, without waiting forever to be seated.
