donuts, with every kind of topping, filling and flavorings I can think of. I especially liked the strawberry cream one (I forget what name it had, but all the donuts have fun rock and roll inspired names). The yeasted rise donut reminded me of the awesome Blue Star donuts in Portland...and more toppings! The banana nutella stuffed one was insanely epic. Service was friendly. Not much seating but you're eating a donut...you're not there to hang out!

COOKIE BUTTER DONUTS, aka X-RAY SPECULOOS, SO GOOOOD.

If you're a fan of cookie butter, this is a must !
All other donuts are delicious as well.

My friend said these donuts are one of the best in LA so I went with her to try.
I agree - they are really good. I got a lot of the sweeter ones like maple bacon, chocolate - even though they were sweet, I still liked it.

The fruity ones are also very yummy. The drinks are not worth though. Too expensive and doesn't taste good.

Can't believe I've waited this long until I've tried Donut Friend - these donuts are amazing and fairly priced, too.

My favorite is the polar berry - the sweetness and tanginess mixed together was really good, and the overall texture was amazing. The simple sugar donut with jam in the middle was also a favorite, too. Crème brulee donut was a little sweet, but I liked it, too!

Not a big fan of the sweeter donuts like the S'mores or the maple bacon. Definitely returning soon!

The line for this place was out the door long! I tried their signature Polar Berry Club donut and the donut tasted super fluffy and fresh. You can also customize your donut the way you like it by picking your choice of donut, filling and toppings. It can get a little pricy so do expect to spend at least $3+ per donut.

My favorite donut place! This is a DIY type of donut place. If you're into rock bands, you'll be able to recognize some of their donut names!

This place is a vegan's dream come true! Vegan donuts, people! You heard me right! They've got every flavor you've ever wanted plus even more flavors beyond your wildest imagination! Oh, did I mention donut HOLES?! They've got those too! Forget paying $6-$7 for a vegan donut like you will at other vegan friendly bakeries in the city, Donut Friend has got your back with donuts averaging $2-$3 a pop. You truly will feel like you have a new friend after visiting Donut Friend because the staff is so incredibly nice and genuinely excited about the products they sell!

Oh man there should be a law against how good this place is. Picture your version of an incredible donut. Now take that donut, slice it across the middle and add your choice of filling (in my case vanilla bean icecream). Throw in some fruit for good measure and you've got yourself one of Donut Friend's custom creations.

On top of that, their coffee's pretty good too!
