Modern, sleek, sexy, and luxurious describe this trendy hotel located in Beverly Hills. I came here for a Destination Luxury event in their Riviera lounge restaurant and it was gorgeous. Oh and of course their lobby is fancy schmancy.

Even if you are not staying at the hotel, it is a great spot to impress a date and grab a drink.

Ok, this is the best hotel in Los Angeles. It's decorated like something out of Vegas (with the prices to boot). Try the incredible drinks made with liquid nitrogen :)

Sleek and sultry, the SLS hotel embodies everything that you may love or hate about LA. Beautiful and chic interiors, unique aesthetics inside the rooms and people watching at the doorstep. The service is solid, although the place does come off pretty snooty overall.

One of the best hotels in service and in atmosphere in the LA area. I called ahead on a Saturday night/ Sunday morning to inform them of my arrival, and that a driver would deliver my car soon afterwards. I was too drunk to drive. Check in was a breeze, as they knew the importance of timeliness in my case, and they even had water brought up without my asking.
Everything in this hotel screams class and sophistication, without being too stuffy or pretentious. From the velvety red carpets to the sleek chrome finish accents, this place was styled to impress. I love the doorless walk-in shower. Elegant stone furnishings through the bathroom, something I would love in my own bathroom. Sliding door to the bathroom means no slamming noises, as the bed is just right outside. Beds are soft and cushy, blankets are fluffy, one of the best sleeps I've had in a while. My room came with an outdoor patio which was a nice addition for air. The next morning, the staff knew to bring up my car and confirm it was indeed mine (because it was dropped off after my arrival). Ending my stay here was very sad, but I knew it was just Something Lovely Starting.

Real talk, I'm more of an AirBnb traveler than a hotel guy when left to my own devices. But having had the pleasure of staying at one of LA's true treasures (Such shiny! Many luxury!), I can see how hotels are able to fight back against the "stay local" movement by upping the ante. From the rooftop pool (where frequent photoshoots WILL be going down during your stay) to the series of decadent restaurants from Jose Andres, the SLS pulls out every trick imaginable from its sleeve. True story: A meeting I took here a few years back got off to a very late start because Cameron Diaz was standing right outside the door of my conference room, and my guests thought the room was hers. Oh LA!

Swanky. High profile. Celebrity status.

SLS Hotel is part of the Luxury Collection of Starwood Hotels. It definitely lives up to the expectation of luxury: spacious rooms, comfortable beds, private pool cabanas, and one of the top restaurants in Los Angeles: The Bazaar by Chef Jose Andres.

Well worth a visit and stay. Redeem those Starwood points here!

Spacious rooms and friendly staff all wrapped up in a whimsical package.

I'm not a big fan of boutique properties. Typically, high design equals small rooms, lots of attitude, and poor service. The SLS is a different story and is a great property. Well worth the visit.

Holy moly - this hotel is one of the most modern artsy hotels I've ever been in. The interior decoration and ambiance here is the perfect mix of Hollywood hip to upscale classy. While the rooms are pretty pricey, you get what you pay for. Everything from your shower and bed to your table and doors are all masterpieces of art. This is also celebrity and people watching central. Even if you don't stay here, make an effort to come out and visit this hotel, have some dinner or just drinks at the bar.

A boutique, luxury hotel with all the comforts you don't have at home. It reflects the ever-changing nature of Los Angeles. The SLS began as Hotel Nikko, reflecting Japanese-style architecture. Then, purchased by Le Meridien, it underwent a major renovation and reflected European luxury. In 2005 it acquired still another owner and underwent still another renovation but has continued to emphasize glamour and luxury - this time without any geographic tie-in.

It is young and posh and in expensive great food at Jose andreas don't get scared to get enter. It is not pricy at all. For example the Gaspacho is $5. People does not know 5 star restaruant can be so affordable.

Gorgeous upscale hotel with beautiful interior decor. It's really spacious inside. The bar has some of the best drinks in LA, with mixologists who truly pay mind to their craft. Had a drink w/ Japanese peach in it... delicious!

One of the most creative spaces I've been to in Los Angeles. I love the quirkiness and attention to detail. And you can definitely see Phillip Starck written all over it. The folks who built the hotel not just had a entirely new, refreshing concept for the guest rooms but they actually executed it really well. Functional ingeniousness meets playful chic.

One thing that really stood out to me is how they provide complimentary full-sized shampoo, conditioner and body wash to each guest - they do this to reduce plastic waste (imagine all the little tiny bottles that can add up).

This place is worth every dollar. Seriously. As soon as you walk through the front doors of the lobby, you will feel it and you will know.

The SLS is a very quirky hotel. They have art work that changes when you walk past it, they have a modern elegance, but the furnishes are not typical at all. i think the SLS has a masculine aesthetic that I appreciate. The lobby bar is fantastic with some great cocktails, the rooftop pool is gorgeous and the service it incredible. I really enjoyed everything about my stay and really took advantage of everything it had to offer. My suite room was massive and the layout was really interesting with the desk being placed behind the bed. The bathroom was large and instead of individual toiletries, they hotel has retail bottles that you use. they room has all these quirky elements that are best to experience rather than to read about. The spa is incredible and i had one of the best massages there. I also ate at the hotel restaurant- Bazaar twice and my only regret is not eating there more. The food was prepared using modern techniques like foams and liquid nitrogen, but in a way that made the food experience better. the SLS has been a hot spot for celebrity events and during my stay they hosted a TV Guide hot list party where we saw a bunch of tv celebrities and then the next night had an Aston Martin party. really cool place
