Host to the triathlon in the 2012 London Olympics and one of London's main green spaces, Hyde Park is full of activity. Whether you prefer horse riding or gazing at fine art at the Serpentine Gallery, ... Read more
Hyde Park offers more than 350 acres of scenery. The only thing you won't find is a hunting party thundering through in pursuit of wild boar - that sort of fun was restricted to the days of King Henry.

A great place to wonder and explore. If you're visiting in summer it's a perfect spot to lay out and soak up the sun.

Must visit! Hyde Park is busy on the weekends and when it’s sunny, but does not feel like a tourist spot. It’s absolutely beautiful to see in the summer. Cafes and bars in the park too if you’re keen for a latte or pimms.

Awesome park if it’s good weather. Sometimes they have huge music festivals, with lots of artists and food. Try to catch one of them.

Hyde Park is great for a walk or bike ride. If you can find it, search out the Italian water fountains. Absolutely stunning!

I personally find Hyde Park the least personal of the London parks - perhaps because of its size

Hyde Park is the largest park in central London. It is a multi use park but personally I love it because it offers serenity in a very fast-paced city.

The park itself is divided by the Serpentine and the Long Water. There are a number of statues and memorials around the park, the most famous one now probably being the Diana Princess of Wales Memorial.

For different reasons the park is frequented by locals, local workers and tourists alike.

Always worth a visit if you want to enjoy the open spaces and clear your head. About 15-20 minute walk from the apartment.

This park is huge but not much to look at. Kensington palace and gardens are here, but it was closed when I got there. It's a great place for a long run without having to deal with the traffic.

Hyde Park is one of the great lungs of London, providing fresh air, flowers, celebratory events, personal sports, and respite from a London that can become just a little bit too hectic.

Hyde park is best in spring when there are often a million dandelions in bloom. Speakers corner is located at the Marble Arch end. It's the most central London park, but I prefer Hampstead Heath.

A very warm park for a lovely sunny London day. There's a speakers corner here where anyone gets in the center and begins speaking of anything that fancies them. Be sure to check out that corner in the park!

Hyde Park is an absolutely lovely park in the heart of London. It's a huge park and it's perfect for a stroll! Also, they host large events here like Winter Wonderland, a winter carnival and Christmas market.

An enormous park with miles upon miles of paths, a gallery, cafes, boating lake and much more. It's easy to spend hours in this place and well worth a visit for any outdoor enthusiasts. There are also some magnificent monuments and memorials around the periphery to check out.

London's Hyde Park is one of the greatest city parks in the world. It has something for everyone. You can enjoy swimming, boating, cycling and skating. There are pitches for team games, tennis courts, tracks for horse riding and a spectacular children’s playground.

Entering Hyde Park you'll immediately forget about the car horns, the noise and the traffic of London streets. The park is really big, with a lot of differents paths that lead you to the Serpentine Lake, the Serpentine Gallery or the Princess Diana Memorial, where you can find kids running into the water of the Diana's Memorial Monument in summer. You can sit and have a break in one of the bars near the Lake, or rent a boat and sail across it. Pay attention cause the park is really big and you won't realize how much you re walking. If you don't feel like walking so much, better hire one of the Boris' bikes :)

London's Central Park or should I say Central Park is NYC's Hyde Park. Its vast expanse spreads over hundreds of acres in the core of London offering the city its much needed dose oxygen. Hyde Park connects via the serpentine lake with Kensington Palace Gardens and one can easily walk across the park into the palace gardens. One of the most visited lake in London is the Serpentine and you can watch ducks and geese being fed here or even enjoy a quiet nap under the green canopy by the lake. Do not miss the Speaker's corner which takes place during the afternoon you can even partake in the discussion open to public.
