increasing rents have begun to drive out independent shops in favor of retail chains, though local restaurants showcasing London cuisine still remain. Street markets are popular attractions, selling everything from fashionable items to antiques. Historic churches and museums are additional attractions for visitors of the neighborhood.

Whatever you are looking for, you will find it here. Dig a little bit for the best food, and don't miss Inverness market too.

I love this hip area of town. There's loads of shopping with fun market and food stalls. It's fun to come here to people watch, browse the numerous stalls, and get bites to eat from all of the stalls.

Make sure to go at the weekends when the markets are in full force and you can spend hours browsing the stalls and munching on street food. This place gets really busy so be prepared. Also, the nearest tube stop has a habit of closing with no notice so you might need to walk to the next one to get back home.

Located just 10 mins walk from the flat, quirky Camden is a great day out. Visit the market for cool clothes and tastes of what the stalls have to offer.

Camden Town is a lovely, thoroughly entertaining little borough in London filled with street stalls and merchants, food markets, and a sort of quaint vintage feel to London without being overly pretentious. We spent an entire day here, browsing the stalls and enjoying delicious food.

Camden is absolutely one of my favorite places in London. Great for going for a wander, checking out the stores and markets, and grabbing a bite to eat. It's one of the places in London I make sure to return to every time I visit!

Very cool, eclectic market, offering antiques, tapestries, punk rock clothes, and other oddities in stalls set in the old Camden stables. This was where the punk rock scene in the 70s and early 80s was centered. Not still here, but still has a cool vibe. Gets very crowded on weekends and is a great place for people watching. Food stalls offer up good things to eat.

Camden Town has been a residential area since the 1790s, but it was only the development of the Grand Union Canal and the improved railway transport that turned it into a bustling part of London. Today, visitors and locals gather to hunt for treasures in Camden's markets, stroll by Regent's Canal, gaze at the beautiful buildings, sample cuisine from around the world, listen to live music and soak up the vibrant and diverse atmosphere. Many famous people, including Dylan Thomas, Walter Sickert and Amy Winehouse, have made Camden their home.

This was a funky, alternative, artsy district of London with good food and indie shopping. Lately it may be getting more mainstream.

Super crowded, but great vibe and fun atmosphere. I liked the lock and stables best as it wasn't as much of a crush.

Since 60s the heart of ecclectic London. Still has a buzz to it with great bars and restaurants. Strongly recommend a stroll on Sunday afternoon when the market is in full swing.

If you enjoy good ethnic food, casual shopping, touristy entertainment, british history, local fashion, and/or expressionist artwork, here's the place to be!!

Camden town is a very diverse, interesting, and entertaining area! There are several food and fashion markets, such as the camden town market and the stables market! In the camden town market, there are many small shops selling clothes, accessories, bags, and various random goods! One area consists of food vendors selling a diverse variety of food, including Thai, Mexican, Chinese, pizza, Mediterranean, and many others!! It's impossible to only find one dish that you want because there are so many options! Plus, everything looks so fresh, flavorful, and tasty, and the smell of the all the spices just make my mouth want to water!

Most of the food were about 4/5€ per box, and they gave you a huge portion! This is such a great deal! While eating we sat at the tables on the side, and it was interesting watching the locals and tourists shop and eat!

The other market, the Stables Market, used to be a stable for horses, but it is not renovated and remodeled into a fashion/shopping market! Each store used to be a stall for horses! Very creative and eye opening to learn about the history and see how different it is! Throughout the market, there are still many horse related decorations, signs, and statutes!!!

I definitely had a very fun and intriguing experience!

By far, hands down, my favorite part of London! AMAZING!! Hip, trendy and youthful! Where all the cool and colorful people spend hang out. There are several different market options with trendy fashions. And you can have your fill of cheap street food from around the world. It is just spectacular to walk around, you could spend all day there! For the more adventurous I would recommend checking out Cyber Dog. It's a huge shop dedicated to rave attire, even if you are not into the rave scene the shop is worth seeing!
