I walked by this place to see, well, a beautiful palace. The queen was not there, but there were a lot of people waiting on the fence? I didn't spend a lot of time here, not sure what there was to see through the fence?

A must-see if you're visiting London. However, don't expect any Royals venturing too far from inside the building.

Go watch the changing of the guard. Get there early as it fills up with people about an hour in advance.

Crowded with tourists but a must visit when you are in London. There's a super nice park right beside it where you can chill and enjoy a cup of coffee.

Another London must-see, but do be prepared for big crowds (Almost everywhere in London). It's better to arrive early or later in the evening to have a better view.

The palace's splendor is never greater than on the Queen's birthday when every effort is made to celebrate the occasion with pomp and ceremony. This year was no different, a day to remember.

I would definitely recommend seeing the changing of the guard, but if you're interested in the palace itself, try to go early in the morning so it's less crowded and you can really examine the building. It's an amazing site to see.

A must see in London. Golden gates and the guards always vigilating. At 11:30 a.m. It is the right time for looking at the changing of the guard

The historic seat of British power and influence. The home of our Great Queen who underpins our democracy and to whom we look in times of national terror and celebration.

Super cool to visit when guards are changing. It's fun to watch the men march down to the palace and it's even more special to just be in the presence of such a historical place. Flowers surround the road leading to the palace. I don't care if it rains, cause it was still one of the most beautiful places I've ever been too.

While in England, you gotta pay your respects to the Queen! Stop by for a visit and wave hello. Also, you're in for a treat if you come for the changing of the guards, which happens everyday in summer, and every other day the rest of the year. It's a huge spectacle that lasts an hour.

Tourists go to see the changing of the guard - I've never bothered to go inside but it's certainly an iconic London sight! Best is to walk past on the way up to Pall Mall/ Trafalgar Square.
