Visited while in renovations so I was a bit disappointed not to have a selfie with it as background but still good to see it.

I was pretty bummed when I went to London for the first time on a double decker bus only to find Big Ben was covered up and under construction. I really wanted to have that "true London" experience. I guess in the end it's just a giant clock. One day I'll come back and see Big Ben again I hope!

Big Ben is a great attraction to see. If you do a guided tour it can be worth the visit. This is one of those attractions where you have to decide if it's really something you're invested into seeing as there's so much to do in London. I recommend doing a guided city tour where you have a guide that tells you the history of Big Ben while outside.

I visited London and was very excited to finally see the Big Ben! unfortunately, it was under construction and I did not get the high quality picture imagined. I drove around the city and stopped to take a look at this amazing tower. However, even under repairs the amount of scaffolding around it and it’s size in real life was interesting to see. Expect to find yourself among great crowds of people and traffic in this area is very hectic.

Out of all the landmarks in the world, Big Ben is one that won't disappoint. It looks exactly like it does in the pictures. You can get some great photos atop the pedestrian bridge as you approach the landmark (even better when you can catch a red double decker bus whizzing by in the background)! As striking in the daytime as it is at night, no visit to London is complete without taking a gander at this building.

Amazing experience just to walk or drive by. Located by the Thames River, this clock stands tall in all its beauty.

Big Ben is definitely the number one thing to do as a tourist. It is fairly anticlimactic, but if you have a limited amount of time to spend on a layover, take the tube to see it. It takes significantly less time than you would expect.

Big Ben is a "must see" in London. Possibly a good idea to combine seeing this famous clock along with a tour of Parliament. Westminster Abbey is close by with all the famous people commemorated within.

London is thus far my favorite city! There are so many things to do and so many places to eat. I really like the culture and it makes it that much more comfortable that I am abroad but English is the common language. I really liked all the shops in Chinatown, as well as shopping in general. Can't wait to go back!

I really enjoyed watching the sunlight seep through the rain clouds over Big Ben. The most beautiful shot you can get of the Big Ben is on top on the London eye as you tower over England. By far one of the coolest experiences of my life.

As iconic a sight in London as there is, Big Ben is one of the worlds most famous landmarks. You cannot visit London without visiting.

It's really just a bell tower. Nay, the bell is actually called big ben, not the whole thing.

It's worth a picture but is not that interesting. I wouldn't make a detour but if you are on Whitehall or the South Bank then pop across.

If you happen to be wandering around Westminster on a Saturday or Sunday, odds are you might get caught up in a rally, about practically anything. I had quite the experience last weekend when a housing rally bombarded the streets of Parliament. The best strategy: join them. Soon I was holding a "Housing for all; people before profit" banner.
