Planning a trip to Las Vegas? Let Skyscanner find you the best deals on Las Vegas hotels.

Visiting Las Vegas, the largest city in Nevada, is an experience like no other. With so much bling you can see it from space; Las Vegas is a vast sprawl of neon lights, glittering casinos and mind-blowingly luxurious hotels.

Once you arrive on your flights to Las Vegas, you'll notice the city has an efficient bus and monorail networks to get you around the city, but the famous Strip can easily be navigated on foot. Hotels on the Strip are notoriously the most expensive; the Bellagio with its dancing fountains, Caesar’s Palace, the Mandarin Oriental and the MGM Grand being the cream of the crop.  The Golden Gate Hotel is the oldest hotel in the city, built in 1906.Off the Strip, the Artisan Hotel is a lovely non-gaming boutique hotel while the Desert Rose offers condo accommodation with pool and superb views. Downtown, the Freemont Hotel and California Hotel offer gaming accommodation at a fraction of the price of the Strip. In the suburbs, hostels like Sin City and B&B’s like Michele's French Country Cottage in the style of an Alpine lodge provide cheap rooms in the city.

Casinos are by far Las Vegas’ main draw but weddings are the other. Whether it’s an Elvis theme or Gothic horror, there are chapels to suit every couple’s tastes. If you need to escape the extravagance, head for the vast and unforgettable Grand Canyon with its awe-inspiring views. Shopaholics can go crazy in the Fashion Show and Town Square Malls, while sports fans can indulge their passion for hockey games and rodeo shows. Anyone who likes to eat will find themselves in buffet heaven in Las Vegas.

As the sun sets fiery orange behind this desert city, you’ll still need your sunglasses as the lights of Las Vegas explode in full bloom. Cool clubs and hip bars, fine dining and theatre shows add to this already hedonistic paradise.

Did you know..?

Las Vegas holidaymakers seem to love a shrimp cocktail. Over 60,000 tonnes of shrimps are consumed there every day!

If you notice an aroma of coconut emanating from around the Mirage and Mandalay Bay Hotels, that is because they actually pump the scent of coconut through the air filtration systems!

The famous sign, Vegas Vic, a neon cowboy that looms over Fremont Street, is the largest mechanical neon sign in the world.
