the middle of the Nevada dessert, is an oasis too good to be true. It's never too crowded and the patrons are (in my experience) usually locals. We had a $100 spa credit, these promotions run pretty frequently at the Red Rock. We got a couples massage and I got a facial. Standard locker with robe and slippers provided. Couples Massage: divine. Both our masseuses did a good amount of chatting in the beginning, making sure we were comfortable and wanted to know where exactly our sore spots were. My beau, being a golfer got a lot of attention in the shoulders, and I requested a lot of attention in the lower back. They checked in regularly to see if pressure was good, but left us to snooze until our session was over. Highly recommended. Facial: my facial lady was awesome. I like getting my face cleaned up, I can do everything else at home but extractions are really important for me. She took the time and effort, to carefully do extractions without bruising and really took the care to make sure I was comfortable. Felt like a million dollars afterwards. The facilities: Men's and women's sections are on opposite ends. Very deep hot tub with strong jets. The water was just right, and there was a seating area right beside. The cold tub was fun to jump into after the sauna room. The rain shower room was very neat, you can adjust the settings to how you want the rain to come down, loved it. The waiting room has huge wide couches that are comfy to sit in with a huge selection of magazines and tea. Fruit and cucumber water also. Shower rooms provide shampoo conditioner and body wash. Disposable razors and shower caps. Vanity room has TVs, cotton swabs, Q-tips, disposable hair brushes, disposable tooth brush and paste, mouthwash, hair dryer, curling iron, deodorant, hairspray (and probably a lot of other things I am forgetting). Anyway, you won't need to bring anything else. Everything in this spa was spacious and had lots of seating, surfaces and bottled water. I could have spent a lot more time here if I wasn't so restricted, and I would have loved to used the outdoor pool but they were closed at the time. That only means a re-visit is needed so I can update.

Had a family friend who had a home in Red Rock country club across the highway and we always end up going to this casino on some nights. I remember the payout of the games were very good and the sushi place inside here was amazing.

Local from Las Vegas

This place is located on the West side way off the strip, and it is a destination property, it is open and airy, and clean. It is worth the trip out there. They have a movie theater and a bowling alley. I have never had a bad meal out there. The pool is very cool. If you have the time make the trek out and check it out. Live it up, you are in Las Vegas for cryin’ out loud!

Not as hip as the Palms, but well-designed for a Las Vegas hotel. It's way off the Strip, which will appeal to locals on staycations, and guests with business in Summerlin. The pool is laid out like the rays of the sun. Good vibe and well-planned.

If you want to get away from the Strip, this is a nice resort with golf, spa, restaurants, and everything else you would expect from a large resort in the city.

This Resort & Spa is about a five minute drive away from my house. On my visit to the Red Rock I went bowling with some friends. Their bowling alley is really nice, the lanes are well kept and the overall atmosphere is pretty fun. The drinks are pretty cheap and the music is really great as well. The staff here is really attentive in the bowling alley and throughout the entire property.

The rooms are spacious, and the hotel offers various rooms from a queen room to a deluxe suite. There are some great places to eat in here. Everything from a hugh spread at the buffet, sushi, and BBQ. So much to choose from under one roof. This Resort & Spa is definitely a local favorite, and is very inviting from the time you walk in till the time you leave.

The property is always clean, and there is plenty to do. There's bingo, night clubs, a bowling alley, and even a movie theater. Red Rock always The Resort on any given night is filled with lots of locals and tourists having a great time.

Located in the NW part of Las Vegas this hotel is totally self contained.
It is modern,sexy,cool!
It has 10 restaurants and a nightclub run by Randy Gerber.
In the summer the pool is the place to be!
The concerts in the summer are outdoors and some of the biggest names in music.
What this hotel is not...close to the strip...It is a half hour drive away.
But oh soooo worth it!

Very nice but very far from the strip, too far. I feel like its more of a family place. If you're just going to chill at the pool and the hotel it's fine but if you're going to the strip it's really far.

The place is a nice venue to host an event like hip hop international. With dancers all around the world, try compete for the title of being the best and Vegas is where it's at. Hotels are nice but they really need wifi provided by the hotel for the people that stay there especially for a big conference that they get to host. I hope that this place gets what it needs for an upgrade.

This is one of my all time fave casinos in Las Vegas. 1-it was close to my home, 2-it has a good buffet, 3-locals can swim here,4-good date night. Located in Summerlin (about 15 miles from the strip), you get the whole Vegas experience in an upscale residential community. Huge casino with all your favorite games, pretty chandeliers, modern & contemporary design, palm trees galore, great restaurants, food court, arcade, movie theater, bowling alley, babysitting services (drop off and pick up-yes...how sad!), spa, and all other amenities of a full service hotel. The rooms are absolutely beautiful and has all the upgrades. I can only remember how massive the marble bath tub is. I gets busy on weekends with locals hitting up Yard House, the very sheek Lucky Bar, and Rocks Lounge. I would go to to Rocks Lounge with co-workers to see Zowie Bowie. They are an energetic and lively band and vocal group singing top 40's hits every Friday at Red Rock (complimentary admission)! This hotel caters to locals and tourists. It has meeting and convention space. Great place to book an event, as they may be cheaper then the strip hotels. They are part of Station Casinos, bring your station card to earn points!

I would definitely not recommend to stay here if you have plans to visit the strip a lot. It is a far drive and not only will the cab fares eat up your wallet, the drive back and forth with your own car, will eat up on your whole 'Vegas' experience. Stay here if you've been to Vegas a few times and want something milder/quieter, are older, visiting local friends/family, have a killer hotel rate you can't pass, or plan on visiting the strip once a day.

This is my favorite hotel ever! Nobody can ever dream of beating such an amazing place. I mean, come on, they have a TV by the bathtub! That's just smart! Usually I just relax by the bathtub and watch that TV instead of the bigger one by the bed.

I arrived in Las Vegas not knowing where I would be staying. My boss had called and asked if I wanted to sneak down for a night and attend a conference and I was hesitant and looked for reasons not make the trip down. Finally in the end I decided to head and down and blow a day off of "real work".

I hopped in the car and was told we would be staying "off the strip". Oh great, we were heading to Motel 6! After about a 30 minute drive we arrived at Red Rock. I was pleasantly surprised just how nice an "off the strip hotel" can be. The rooms are modern and completely updated with the amenities one would expect including flat panel televisions in both the living area and the bathtub. The beds were very comfortable and my room had a beautiful view of the canyon and overlooked the pool area. Speaking of the pool, its just as good as any you will find in LV and full of beautiful people. Unfortunately I brought down the total score of pretty people but I tried my best to be polite.

Like most of the finer properties the casino had a nice variety of restaurants and bars. The restaurants included a steak house, Italian, Japanese, Mexican (closed for renovations until May 15th) and plenty of other casual and even fast food establishments.

I put twenty down on red and came up black, minus 1 star.

This is beautiful place with a beautiful pool. It is off the strip. We've only been there in the middle of the week but it's always been dead, dead, dead.

Hotel is very nice except for one SMALL flaw. For some reason, aside from the fact that its 12.5 miles from the strip and far away from any fantastic eateries and shopping centers of Las Vegas ... they only have one elevator.

Yes ... one, single, elevator location for the entirety of the hotel which runs similarly styled to the Wynn. So imagine this ... you're tired, sleepy and its 2 am in the morning. You get up the elevator only to realize that your elevator is on ONE end of the long hallway and your room is on the complete other end! You dreaded the walk which made 5 minutes seem like 40 minutes and was eager to find another elevator location closer to your room.

To your surprise, there isn't one. Who does this? What kind of designer thought this was the smart thing to do? It's absolutely beyond me. Aside from the pesky elevator situation, the rooms are gorgeous and very plush, the bathrooms are nice and open and overall since its a relatively new hotel / casino everything has 'nice' embedded in it. I wouldn't mind staying here but would definitely request a room near the elevator for convenience as the hall way is QUITE long and ... I would probably do a relaxing vacation instead since its so far from the strip but equally as expensively priced for some reason ...
