Ko Phangan is magic despite the Full Moon Party.Yes, Full Moon party is trash, but Nightlife is great every nght. ANd on the other site of the island there is a new yoga school or meditation course popping out every day. Everywhere beatiful beaches and in the middle a lush jungle and yet no package tourism. So, Ko Phangan is really magic

I've visited ed at NewYear
Eve & FullMoon Party on 2009 Nov 31
It was so funny & crazy time and buckets of mixed vocka make us so happy : )
There are many boats from Samui to Phangan,so it's better to reserve a bangallow or hotel in Samui.

I stayed in Hat Yuan for a few weeks in December, 2004, just around the tsunami event. Before that, I was really enjoying myself on the beach with plenty of Mai Thai's.
