A nice place to end your day in Key West. The cruise ships are required to move out so that they will not spoil your view of the sunset, which is why most people are hanging out here. There are lots of street entertainers and food stands to make you happy.

Key West is a scenic drive 90 miles south of our property. It is a wonderful day trip with unbeatable scenery on the drive down. The shopping and strolling along Duval St in Key West is like no other experience. It is widely known for the bar scene known as the "Duval Crawl" from the Southernmost Point to Mallory Square. Spend your day exploring the land or head out for a snorkeling or sunset tour then back to Mallory for exceptional street performers and outstanding cuisine. It is easy to book a room for the night then head back to Islamorada for the ultimate one night getaway

take a road trip to key west. pretty sunset at Mallory Square with street performers, etc. Take the conch train tour, tour old homes, see the shipwreck museum, aquarium, pirate museum, Hemmingway House or wander the bars and shops of Duval street.

Even on a day when a trioxide storm puts rain and causes the surf to pound the shore, this place is beautiful.

At least once you HAVE to do this. Its 3 hrs before Sunset each night with a variety of free entertainment that is suitable for kids and adults alike. Stop by and See Popcorn Joe, a fixture for 30+ years. It is probably one of the best high points of your Key West visit

Mallory Square is one of the most touristy attractions in Key West. Perfect for families souvenir shopping before they hop back on their cruise and ride off into the sunset. Bad for travelers looking to discover the real essence of Key West.

The waterside "Sunset Celebration" occurs every night at Mallory Square. This is a must see at least one night during your stay. A nice crowd gathers each night starting about an hour before sunset to watch street performers, check out the local art booths and enjoy drinks and snacks. Make sure you say hello to Popcorn Joe and have some of the best popcorn ever. Bring your camera so you can take photos of the beautiful sunset and the sailboats out for a sunset cruise.
