Nice for a 1 time visit or to walk around and climb up or walk back down, but the view isn't stunning and not worth standing in line for to get in the skilifts. The food up isn't amazing either and not more special then elsewhere. The neighborhood Eyüp isn't one of my favourite and it has a lot of pro-erdogan inhabitants. Not that it would disturb you, but I just can't really relate :) avoid going on weekend or holidays, cause it can be crazy busy! In the spring/summer it is at its nicest.

Longmont

Pierre Loti cafe sits on a hilltop overlooking the upper reaches of the Golden Horn. It takes a ferry and a gondola to get up here but the view along is worth it. Try the Turkish coffee.

For the most beautiful view of the Golden Horn, make the trek up to Pierre Loti, in the Eyüp neighborhood. Oh and I guess have a cup of tea or coffee while there, that is purely incidental to the experience, it is the view that is worth the half-day trip.

The stone lotti café, offers breathtaking views of Istanbul. A 360 ° view! Have some tea, especially apples, and admire the view. nothing more beautiful. I had the chance to fall on a table next to the fence. ..breathtaking :)
