was really comfortable, and the décor of the room was simple but pleasant. The best memory though were the lovely girls down at reception, who were ever helpful and cheery. We really enjoyed the amazing terrace rooftop, set with comfortable seats, tables, and potted plants. Unfortunately, breakfast wasn’t served up here, because the view of the water really is fantastic, and you can see the Blue Mosque. In the afternoon there is complimentary tea and snacks, and there is also a fitness room downstairs. It’s a short 600 meter walk to Hagia Sophia, and the hotel is really easy to find because it’s on the corner of the street.

I left my heart in Istanbul at Hotel Amira! For the boutique European look and feel lovers Amira is the place for you. I stayed there with my wife and had an incredible experience. Every little detail is thought out and this place makes you feel like you are in the moment. I highly recommend Amira for people that love to see Istanbul and want to be in Old Town experiencing every historical land while knowing that a comfortable and luxury room is waiting for you at night to go back to. Service and attention from the staff and concierge was top notch!

We stayed here for a week over Christmas - Family Room (we had our adult daughter travelling with us). The staff are amazing. Really. Friendly, fun, informative. The Family Room consisted of one spacious double room (with one standard double bed and a chaise) with views over the street and one slightly smaller twin room (with a double bed and single bed) with no view. They were joined by a small interconnecting hallway - great for space and suitable for families with youngish children. Very clean. Nice buffet breakfast and afternoon tea included. Free WIFI throughout with no limitation on the number of devices you can use. Great value for money. The location was brilliant for touring the old city. We didn't have any problem with street noise. It's an old building with wooden floors so you can sometimes hear people moving around in the rooms above and the showers running. But it certainly was not a problem. We would highly recommend it and would definitely stay here again.

Hotel Amira was Great! My husband and I stayed there for 2 weeks in November and were very impressed with our imacculate room, the friendly and helpful staff and the convenience of the hotel being centrally located. Will definitely stay here again when we come back to Istanbul! Thank you Hotel Amira!

I was in Istanbul, on a business trip and I came across to this fantastic boutique hotel. The receptionist was very friendly and also extremely helpful with local attractions.

The room was very comfortable in every way and the maids ensured my room was immaculate on a daily basis.

The roof top was true to the photographs upon the hotel’s website, fabulous view. It was a great way to end the day (with an Amaretto or two naturally:)

The exceptional service from the staff was second to none. I will certainly be staying here again.

Me and my partner loved this place. Our standard room had everything we need for our 3 needs stay ( a nice shower, kettle, complementary water and a small TV ). But the most important aspect of this hotel were their wonderful breakfast and incredibly polite staff. We will return soon.

This is one of the loveliest hotels I’ve been to. It’s actually based on two old houses that have been renovated in 2010 into this chic and stylish residence. Its scent, coziness and artsy touches tell a great deal of the care put behind the design as well as the management of this welcoming hotel. I appreciated that they cared quite highly about the guests and restricted the amazing view in the terrace to guests only; which means get your bottle of wine and spend some time up there with the company of the ones you love! Mind the noise as the area can get quite busy with traffic, but the location is excellent to access all of what Sultanahmet has to offer within a short walking distance.
Another lovely surprise was to find no useless pricy snacks at the mini fridge! A good chance for someone to fill them with what you can pick and choose from a nearby store for three times less the price. Sounds quite thoughtful to me!

Wow! This is really one of my best stay in the whole world (Not only Istanbul). From the staff to the rooms and location. Try to enjoy Istanbul and the Hotel Amira Istanbul. Everthing was so perfect and I'm now very sad that I couldn't stay longer. The wifi dongle is a plus. Breakfast and teatime is a must:)

Located in the centre of historical old Istanbul, most sightseeing is at walking distance. An excellent service makes this hotel the perfect choice for a city-trip to Istanbul. The hotel staff was very helpful. They gave us very useful information about places of interest and restaurants.

We stayed with my wife in December before Cristmas at the Amira Hotel Istanbul. Everyone should know that you get what you paying for. This little hotel knows how to treat with people around the world. Mr.Jimmy and all the other staff were great funny and had all answer that we need. The room really special ,nice and very clean.

I live in California and I really cherish friendly staff when it comes to a hotel. Staff at Amira has been so courteous with everything we needed. They're super knowledgeable about Istanbul. Tourist spots, fancy places, hole in the wall gyros spots, whatever we asked about, they were able to give us several alternatives for it so we could decide which one suits us best. They even hooked us up with an internet hotspot when we realized the internet on our phone was a little bit on the expensive side. All in all, it was a great stay and Hotel Amira would definitely be my top pick in Istanbul.

Amira is fabulous and its staff excellent and thoughtful. Breakfast and afternoon tea are to die for! The location is walking distance to all the major attractions in the old city. Clean comfortable rooms. There is an outside rooftop for drinks if the weather is fine. . If you fly in the hotel can organize a taxi service for pick-up which we found very good and worth getting. AND The free WiFi Dongle was an excellent idea.
