If you’re looking for a show-off brunch that ticks all of the extravagance boxes. W Hotel is the one. Sold as a Bubbly Seafood Brunch - it does what it says on the tin. The menu has over 30 buffet options including fresh oysters and Boston lobsters with free-flow champagne for $828. Want to upgrade that to rose and caviar? Take it up a notch to $1,888 per person. The best thing about this brunch is the location, I love the Alice in Wonderland themed decor inside and, if you can, head up to the outdoor pool bar for post-brunch drinks.
W Hotel’s WET pool is famous for its stunning views. You can find it on the 76th floor of the hotel as it overlooks Victoria Harbour. The open rooftop has an awesome outdoor heated pool that lines huge windows. At the weekend you can gain access to the WET pool and jacuzzi as well as the cocktail bar. For $598 you will also receive a BBQ platter and drinks or just access the pool for $398. If you’re around in the summer, make sure to catch one of their Summer Session Pool Parties.
Took the airport express from HKG to Kowloon station. Only two stops and you're there. Purchased Airport Express ticket round trip online before arriving and it included unlimited subway use for the length of the three days here.
Staying at the W Hong Kong. Very easy walk through the ICC shopping mall to get here. No taxi lines. Elevator to the lobby. Nice and efficient check in staff.
The return will be nice using the city check in for Cathay Pacific so no need to schlep bags back to the airport.
Sadly, hotel room karma ran out here and this is the view.
But a clean and efficient room in W style so that's a plus.
As always with the W Hotel chain, you can expect impeccable service and a quality hotel combined with a fun atmosphere. I love that this hotel is attached to a huge mall and office complex, as it made finding food and shopping so simple and easy. Even taking the train here was a breeze. There was nothing I didn't like about this hotel, but my favorite thing was probably the penthouse infinity pool 60 stories above Hong Kong. It was like swimming on top of the world!!
Pool views are amazing although the sun gets blocked by the building by 4.00pm so get a seat by the jacuzzi... Music a bit loud ... but it is the W ....
The W Hong Kong is conveniently located above the airport express, Kowloon station and its associated MTR station. It is also on top of the Elements mall which means arriving here from the airport express will steer you clear from the elements outside (be it rain, heat, or smog). The Chinese restaurant at the W is commendable, the breakfast spread is fantastic, the rooms all boast harbor views and overall experience here is definitely consistent of the W brand worldwide. Oh and the roof top pool parties are not to be missed.
The W Hong Kong wowed me and my family during our entire stay! We had 2 rooms- a corner suite and the best normal room they had. Both room were beautiful with views of the bay. The rain shower in the bathroom had a TV in it as well- which doubled my shower time. They also provided us with large bottles of heavenly bath products which was much appreciated. The design was extremely stylized and modern. On our first night, we were invited to a party in the lobby where we had free wine and tapas. This hotel is also known for their beautiful rooftop pool that we were so happy we were able to enjoy. I would recommend this hotel over all the other beautiful properties at your disposable because of the unbelievable concierge service. They were able to give us recommendations for everything we wanted and everything was perfect.
Great room, great hotel and great location for a short stay in Hong Kong. Direct access with the airport express train and check-in for you luggage at the station under the hotel. Catch the free shuttle to the star ferry cross over to the island and catch the underground back direct to the hotel. Very easy very simple, very comfortable. Stunning pool.
I only came here for dinner at their restaurant, it's a little on the inconvenient side for sight seeing and in general, the building is a little too posh and shiny to represent HK authentically.
Bad location, TV didn't work, shower flooded, poor service. I think the other reviews were written by W management. biggest waste of $500 ever! But a great view of the sea freight be loaded and unloaded.
All the places in HK have amazing service, of course this is no different. Spent my new years here a year or so ago and it was fantastic. Great party, tons of fun, and of course, people hanging from swings.
This is probably the best hotel I've ever stayed at. The service was flawless and the location (built into the Elements mall in Kowloon) was stellar. If you're traveling for work and want to maintain you're exercise regiment, they have an amazing fitness center that overlooks Central. I'd go back to Hong Kong just to stay at this hotel again :)
