Super fun brewery with pretty good beer and food! Trivia here was pretty fun too!

Housed in 1870s brownstone that once belonged to H.H. Richardson, the brewery is a great place for beers and casual meals with friends. Swing by the comedy club next door for some laughs.

I love trying out brewery bars whenever I visit a new city and this is one of the best I've been to in Hartford. The beers are really tasty. I did a sampler tray and there weren't any I didn't like. They also do an alcoholic root beer which is dangerously delicious. They do great offers each night of the week. We were there on a Saturday and stayed to enjoy the DJ for a little while. It definitely gets rowdier after dark.

Located right on Main Street, City Stream Brewery Cafe is awesome. It has a great vibe that is both welcoming and charming. It’s cozy in its historic setting of old woods, intimate lighting and loft-like appeal, but the food and drink is something to brag, about too. There’s plenty to offer on the menu starting with an abundance amount of beer offered on tap. But beer isn’t the only thing to enjoy here, as there’s lots of wines by the glass alongside awesome pub grub kind of food like killer nachos topped with all the proper fixins. There’s also live comedy shows going on where you can order food and drinks from the full menu, which really makes for a great night out. And hey! You can't go wrong with free WiFi!

Been here maybe six times. The Naught Nurse beer is by far my favorite. Groups can order beers in large beer towers. There's an improv comedy troupe that performs in the basement (tickets sold separately) and private rooms for events upstairs. We went there for the first part of my brother's bachelor party and after a friend's wedding in Elizabeth Park.
