Guadalajara is the second largest city in Mexico, and it is bursting with culture. Guadalajara’s extremely well-preserved colonial architecture creates a sophisticated atmosphere for the city’s beautiful parks and plazas. Detailed fountains and rustic churches set the scene for museums, galleries, and unparalleled shopping. Enjoy lively music in the hometown of Mariachi. Nearby in Tlaquepaque and Tonala, native crafts and folk art abound.

An amazing city with so much to offer. From as much delicious food as you can eat to dancing the night away with salsa and Bachata. Bring sunscreen and a hat - even in spring the temperatures are high enough to be like the hottest summer.

The city of Guadalajara is Mexico's second largest. Though far from being a faceless modern city it is endowed with wonderful historical areas particularly around the main cathedral and the four plazas that come off it.

The city is famous for its Mariachi music, great restaurants and the huge Libertad produce market. What's not to like in a city that thrives off food and music?

I fondly remember entering a cantina-style bar (La Fuente) on one of the plazas that was full of elderly men and university students all taking their turns to play music and sing songs, while everyone around enjoyed a Corona and the odd tequila. I still think it was the best bar I have ever been to, the all-round happiness between locals and friendliness to visitors was something to cherish and behold.

Guadalajara is Mexico's second largest city, and the largest city in the State of Jalisco. It is the most beautiful city in all of Mexico, and a real pleasure to visit. Looking forward to going back.

Well, Guadalajara is a huge city, too much to see, but don't miss the Cathedral, the Plaza of Mariachis, Tlaqupaque -a little artesanal town- in the outskirts of the city- there lots of things to see and food worth it, in el Parian, visit in every city you are the local mercados. Remember Mexico is very big, and most modern so dont loose your time in the new stuff, try the traditional mexico first. Good trip, take care, with the money and your belongings, is fairly safe but you never know.
