I lived here for two years when I was in middle school and loved this city so much. I was recently going through old dairies and remembered a lot about this city and wanted to share it with you all!

It's a relatively small city caught between the fast paced northern cities and relaxed south. It's also not particularly a tourist destination but if you are stopping in Lyon to head south or passing through to get to Chamonix you should consider checking out Grenoble. Plenty to do in the city from historical museums to WW2 monuments to amazing eats, after a few days here you'll get a good sense of French culture outside Paris.

I liked the food (Alpine), the people, and the city. Scenic.
