Only went there for a weekend conference many years ago and fell in love with the place! The outstanding features have to be both the Cathedral and the University and I had to return to Manchester quite sad at leaving such a very pleasant and peaceful place!

Travelled through Catterick and the rest of North Yorkshire and was quite sorry not to have stopped off there, would have liked to have spent more time looking around!
