This place is gorgeous.

I stayed here on my Honeymoon and can't say enough good things about it. Beautiful mansion, the owners are so friendly. It's family owned and operated. It was an amazing experience. I can't recommend it enough.

This lovingly restored mansion, over 125 years old, was designed by architect William Lang and built in 1889 of rusticated, sparkling lava stone. Inside, the shine continues with the beautifully preserved period decor and warmth of your hosts. Whether you are in town for business or en route to climb the Rocky Mountains, you will appreciate every minute of your stay in this comfortable, friendly, and reasonably priced B&B minutes from downtown Denver.

Wow! This bed and breakfast is too adorable and lovely for words. After touring the property, I was tempted to ask if I could just move in permanently. The rooms are beautiful and cozy, and several of them have their own private, outdoor hot tubs. They also offer free parking to guests, which is great since street parking in this neighborhood is a bit tricky. The location can’t be beat as you’re just minutes away from attractions such as the Denver Zoo, Denver Museum of Nature & Science, City Park, the Botanic Gardens, and all of the awesome sights along Colfax Avenue. Just down the block (across Colfax) from Castle Marne is Pete’s Kitchen, a 24-hour diner that’s a Denver mainstay. Breakfast, afternoon tea, and nighttime cookies are included with your stay at Castle Marne. This bed and breakfast is perfect for a romantic weekend.

In the mood . . . for a romantic evening that is? or just for a really great bed & breakfast experience? The Historic Castle Marne is just that. Built in the late 1800s, this mansion has nine incredible rooms each named after one of the mansion's owners.Every room is a little different, many though have a claw tub, which is a rare find these days. Two rooms are connected to a private balcony that has a jacuzzi. That one is mine next time. Downstairs in the ornately decorated dining room, breakfast is served there, or it can be brought up to your room. Every afternoon tea time is set out for whoever is interested, and in the evening they provide a fine spread of cookies and sleepy time tea. Architecture admirers, history buffs, luxury travelers, look no further, this place is an experience. And, at $150 a room (the balcony room are a little more), it's cheaper than some hotels in the area.

This ornate lava stone building was built in 1889 and is reminiscent of a time when no architectural detail went missing. This historic home has gone through many owners and renovations and now exists as a bed and breakfast. If you stay, though, don’t be surprised if you’re awakened late in the night by a light tapping. It is said the spirit of a little girl does this before dissipating on the other side of the door.
