Such a nice place for a hotel. Depends on the room you could wake up smelling and seeing the ocean.

I stayed here one night and the service was great. Especially at the lobby it smelled like, I assume it was flower. Anyways it was great. The location is very offside and quiet.

Best beach side restaurant/resort I've ever been to. The view is astonishing and the food was beyond awesome. First time I've been here I was in high school and it was my most expensive meal back then. About $70 per person for sunday brunch.

I haven't stayed at to too many resort, but the few I have been to, this is hands down one of my most favorite one. My friend got an upgrade to the Club Level and let me tell you the service you get from them really feels like you're a million bucks. What I mean by that is the minute you step in to the resort, you are greeted and nurtured by these well-mannered staffs and they spoiled you like you are a celebrity. They made our stay exceptional!

The property is absolutely breath taking and luxurious, the Ocean view is so breathtaking, the Ocean waves gives you tranquility and afterwards, seems like a hundred pounds have lifted off your shoulder. Morning and evening walks around the resort is absolutely heavenly.

We were here last month celebrating a very special occasion and I felt I was thousands of miles from home but in reality it was only about 50 miles away at Dana Point. We took walks by the beach and the property and felt we were literally walking in heaven..

Our stay started off right at the brunch. We were sat next to the window that oversee the ocean. What a view! Make sure you are away from the sun because when the sun comes out, it gets hot and bright or wear your sunglasses, yes even inside.

The room: The room is bright white and very well maintained. Fresh, clean bedding and linens. The room is simple yet elegant. The bathroom have a dual (his and her) sink.
The gym has a gorgeous view. Going on the elliptical with that ocean view... what motivation and inspiration!

The drive from Los Angeles is not too bad. Less than 50 miles. A great close getaway even if you are not staying at the resort.

There's no place like the Ritz! drop by for anything you want. Even a free tram ride Salt Creek Beach in the summer. They are very gracious.

The outside grounds of this hotel are breathtaking with a beautiful 180 degree view of the ocean!
The inside of the hotel is kinda weird.
A mix of old and new, trendy and dated.
From one point of view, it looks modern and trendy.
But if you cross the room and look back at it from a different angle, it looks dated and old.
Hmm...maybe I need to get my eyes checked?
I expected the lobby and front of the hotel to be more grand but it was just plain and low key.
The floral displays in the lobby were beautiful though.....I wonder if they were Jeff Leatham inspired?
He's an AMAZING florist!

Very cool outdoor restaurant and bar that you can enjoy the breathtaking views of Laguna Beach. The hotel is beautiful like all Ritz Carltons. Plenty of nice restaurants and lounges but would recommend Montage for a better experience.

Awesome. Go into the lounge overlooking the Catalina Islands and order dinner...and just watch the sun set. Stayed there many times...great rooms, great pool, and great food.

One of my favorite hotel's ever! It's cliff side on the Laguna beach. Absolutely breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean. The rooms are simple and classic. Just a short walk down is the beach with towel and umbrella service and anything else you may need. They def take care of you - Ritz has incredible service, they go above and beyond. Great bar at the lobby. Stay for a trip, or visit for brunch and enjoy the views. Quick drive to downtown Laguna. Lots of shops and restaurants there. The company slogan, "We are ladies and gentlemen serving ladies and gentlemen" truly is seen all throughout the properties. Stayed in the Henderson, San Francisco, and Half Moon Bay properties and service always exceeds my expectation.

The staff is exceptionally kind and attentive. And it makes any top-tier Vegas hotel spa look like a musty NYC alley. I want to live at this Ritz!

this was a beautiful hotel!!! i really wanted to stay here bc the rooms look comfy and the view is amazing. i came here for a wedding and my friend got married with the view of the ocean! so pretty.

i got to see the sunset too!

View
beautiful! the only problem was there was a plane with a sign that kept going around and around during the wedding. that was annoying as heck.

food
we had the food from the wedding from the ritz and it was really good! just had a lot of sodium- left me thirsty!!!
the appetizers were really good! coconut shrimp (omg), guoda sandwiches, sausage snackers, etc. it was all soooo good.
scallop in butternut squash sauce- sooooo good i ate it up
salad- good
halibut and potatoes- really good... i got so full i couldnt finish it but it left me feeling thirsty! but really good!

ritz ballroom:
i went to my friend's wedding and crashed another wedding and the ballrooms were gorgeous! the ritz goes all out in decorating the rooms!!! i was so in love with the design...

bathrooms
that was a problem... one bathroom for women on that floor (it had about five or six stalls in that bathroom) but for TWO wedding parties and several meetings... there was a long line for the women... so that was kinda annoying... the bathroom was nice

so i had to go to the bathroom and the bartender told me 3rd floor so i went to the elevator and went on the 3rd floor... i was trying to go back to 1 but the elevator wouldnt let me go back to one. i had to go into the other elevator to go back down! wtf!?!

valet
bc there were so many weddings and parties... it was a nightmare going into the ritz... there was a long line waiting to get valet... omg.

overall, it was a beautiful organized wedding... but ritz should had thought abt the valet and bathroom ordeal...

I love great hotels and this one was no exception.
It is classy and stiff but one of the best in the area.
This caters to business men and you dont get the feeling that you could just lounge around this place.
You would feel out of place in jeans so if formality is not your thing then avoid this hotel.

This hotel is beautiful. It's on a cliff, overlooking the amazing Pacific Ocean. We were here over Christmas holiday and they had the place all decked out with ornament-filled trees everywhere.

We also attended a luncheon wedding reception here, and took some pictures of the bride and groom (who are relatives). The food was great, and the service also wonderful.

This place was beautiful. Our room opened on to the pool. I loved the big fluffy, soft bedding. The views from the dining area were Zen-like. can't go wrong with this place.

Its a great hotel with a wonderful view. It overlooks the beach and the ocean. Also I believe the last time I was their they offered a deal to attend the Pageant of the Masters (July 7 thru Aug 31). It is an art festival where they bring art masterpieces to life.
