Often just visited as a day trip from Marmaris, Dalyan deserve to spend at least a couple of nights. Between its magical river setting, from which you can easily reach the world class Iztuzu beach as easy as Koyceciz Lake, the ruins of Kaunos and all the bars where to let the sun and the night going away, times will fly.

Dalyan is a working agricultural town which has grown up in this silted-up former river delta. It rose to prominence as the resort closest to the world famous Iztuzu Beach. Most holidaymakers make the journey to/from the beach on the co-operative run boats which ply their trade through the reed beds which connect the sea to Koycegiz lake, some 10kms inland.
