Terminal Tower is actually the historic tower that makes up the focal point of Tower City. Built in the early 1900's this structure has that old world feel for sure. One of the most iconic sites in downtown Cleveland and part of almost every skyline picture of the city. You will see this old early 1900's feel as you walk through the doors and you are able to imagine how it looked when it first opened. Truly amazing and it is just a part of what you have in front of you as you continue to walk along through the building and into the mall and more.

Good view of downtown Cleveland, Cuyahoga River, Lake Erie and beyond from the observation desk on the 42nd floor. I paid $5.00 for the ticket, and the view was well worth it. I don't remember the hours of operation but it might have been great to be able to spend some time in the evening.

I love the Terminal Tower now called Tower City. I remember as a child coming to Cleveland from New York when the trains came into Terminal Tower. I have been to one of the law offices on the top floor and it was absolutely exquisite. I love the stores they have for you to shop and the food court has a lot of variety. Now that Cleveland has added the new Horseshoe Casino, which I have been to twice, it's definitely a plus in my book.

Gather round kids. Way back when the 1st Star Wars movie came out one summer, I was in Cleveland as a student intern for the old Standard Oil of Ohio or SOHIO. And during previous winters, I really did walk to school 2 miles through the snow and up hill both ways.

During the weekdays, I took the Rapid from Cleveland Heights Downtown to Terminal Tower. Like the rest of Cleveland at that time, things were a little frayed at the edges both inside and out. But I did have a nice window view of the mighty Cuyahoga was often entertained by the tale of the burning river.
