One of the oldest farmer's markets in the country. It's on the streetcar route, which makes it easy to get around. Lively on the weekends with temporary vendors set up outside. Everything from produce, cheeses, meat, spices, bakery. Also a few restaurants.

We didn't even make it a block away with the family, garbage and broken glass everywhere. Nothing but broken down buildings with boarded up doors and windows, I do not recommend walking there, and I won't go back to even try to check it out. Did not feel welcome our safe.

This is a must do/see in Cincinnati. It's full of amazing local vendors who offer anything from gelato, to organic pet treats, to succulents. Always a fun time!

Located on the northern stretches of the soon to be opened streetcar line in a part of Over the Rhine that is slowly but surely seeing historic renovation, Findlay Market is where Cincinnati meets the world. Go on a Saturday or Sunday and you will see what I mean. The vibe is multicultural, international, but uniquely Cincinnati.

A great local spot that's much more than a farmer's market. This place is alive on weekends!

This is something you don't want to miss while you're in Cincinnati. Findlay Market is a giant outdoor market chock full of exotic to local foods, flowers and spices. If you're from out of town and planning to stay for awhile, go here to do you grocery shopping. You can easily lose several hours at Findlay checking out all the meats, cheeses, fresh fruits and vegetables. There are a few local places that serve food there as well. like Eli's BBQ (they know what they're doing with pulled pork), so stop by and grab a sandwich. You'll be able to experience a lot of Cincinnati in one market, make sure you don't miss out.

This was one of my favorite spots in Cincinnati. Although we walked there when we really should've taken a car, the market itself was really diverse and busy. There are lots of food vendors as well as a beer garden to hang out in. Very dog friendly too! They also have a small Eli's BBQ shop which we definitely checked out.

You've got options at Findlay Market if you're a vegetarian. Lots and lots of options. Fruit and vegetable stands are on both ends of the markets all year round and there's even a few local, organic growers who bring veggies from their farms to the market on weekends.
Check out Dean's Mediterranean for a huge selection of bulk grains and pastas (quinoa, couscous), olive oils and staples like hummus and baba ganoush. Saigon Market sells a small selection of Asian vegetables.
Indoors, bypass the meat counters (there are a lot) for fresh pasta from Brocato's and vegetarian ready-made sides and entrees from Fresh Table.

My favourite place to grocery shop - year round. This is an indoor market, and outdoor farmer's market. The vendors are wonderful, products are fresh, and the food stands are prime. This is the oldest, continually operated market in the US.

Ohio's longest, continuously running public market. An absolute must-see if you are visiting Cincinnati for the first time.

This is a market for food and is walkable from the Music Hall! It reminded me of Faneuil Hall in Boston. It is indoors and has limited indoor seating, but has outdoor seating as well. On the weekends it can be VERY busy. I saw lots of families with children here on the weekend. Many different types of food and people watching! Some of the stands can be pricey. The surrounding area has wonderful architecture, but is very undeveloped, so you may not enjoy walking the neighborhood so much.

Local resteraunts visit early every morning to get the fresh catch of the day & fruits & vegetables.
