I loved the Trump. The employees were all super nice and took care of me and my family well. Stayed three nights, did not get a chance to go to the pool or spa, but loved the stay and the view! Very impressed!

Truly dreadful and tacky. It's in an odd location and the staff are just uninterested. The best thing about the hotel is the view from the pool.

Fantastic location with world class views of iconic Chicago architecture. I went all seafood - ceviche, poke, and lobster roll - while basking in the view of river and Wrigley Building clock.

The Trump tower is an impressive architectural wonder. A must see on your architectural tour of Chicago's downtown districts.

I've stayed in all but one of the 5 star properties in Chicago and I'd rate this one the best. The rooms are exceptional -- spacious, well appointed, great design, and exceptional views. The fitness facilities are large and have the latest equipment. Service is also top notch.

The only things I didn't like about the property are 1) the excessive Trump branding and Ivanka propaganda and 2) the slow elevators.

One thing to note: if you are offered coffee with your wake up call, expect it to show up on the bill. It isn't a complementary service.

This hotel is a MUST if visiting Chicago. Even if you don't spend the night, be sure to grab a delicious cocktail on the outdoor patio for unmatched views of the city!

The last time I was here, I saw Derrick Rose (Bulls) stroll through the lobby and not a soul stopped to ask for a picture (though I'm sure we all wanted to) because it's just not that kind of place. With floor to ceiling windows, free wi-fi, and excellent cocktail lounge and some of the best views in the city- it's easy to see why people love The Trump.

Hotels just don't come nicer than the Trump... spa is fantastic, rooms and service is divine and Sixteen is Michelin rated (albeit not my fav meal in the city, trying a bit too hard to be refined).

The restaurant "Sixteen" is a can't-miss. The food is amazing, the service is first class, and the views of Chicago from the sixteenth story are spectacular. If you are feeling adventurous, try the blind chef's tasting, you won't be disappointed.

I didn't get inside of the building but just from the outside you can say that it's one of the most awesome highrises in Chicago. Impossible to walk around without noticing this huge and beautiful building.

The Trump Tower right before a thunderstorm. The tower is 1,170 feet tall with 98 floors. Cost was 847 million USD, and the construction was completed in 2008.

In Chicago, I learnt why Trump is so well respected. He truly understands the essence of "Location, Location, Location." Visitors can view his magnificent hotel and tower from all over the city. I did not go into the hotel, but I understand it's at least $12/ per drink in the hotel's bar on the 10th floor. The bar itself has a magnificent view of the river and the surrounding architecture.

If, like me, you’ve ever felt your vacation was wearing a bit long because you hadn’t been able to cook for a while, the executive suite at the Trump Towers is also made for you. Even if you just want to scramble your own eggs of a morning rather than spend $20. This place has a heavenly huge kitchen, with a sub zero fridge, marble island countertops a-plenty and a dishwasher you’ll never need to load because the staff elves will do that while you’re out shopping. I’ve stayed in a lot of Chicago hotels, but these views truly are stunning city and river postcards – particularly on the higher floors. Without a doubt, the view from the gym’s window-walled line of stairmasters is something to ease your time sweating. The three-lane lap pool was much appreciated. The well-equipped gym also offers yoga, aerobics and other scheduled exercise classes. I did not try the spa there, but I heard great reports, and as I suggested before, did not try the restaurants or room service, which seemed pricey when I glanced over it. The suite was spacious and the bed comfy luxe, as you’d expect. An LCD TV inset in the bathroom mirror awed the gadget guy I had with me, whilst I was fixated on the deep marble tub. Service was on the crisply professional rather than the warm side, which is probably the way the Donald would want it. His comb-over photo on the water bottles in the minibar made me smile.

The Trump Hotel sets the standard for luxury hotels. Although the architecture is powerful and sleek, Donald manages to make the place feel like home. It is like someone found a way to combine cupcakes and AK-47’s. It is the perfect mix of class and comfort, and is everything a customer would expect from the TRUMP name. The gym is windowed all the way around the building, and has great finishing touches like sliced cucumbers in the water and iced towels. The Concierge was really friendly, and gave us TRUMP BOTTLED WATER. This hotel sets the standard for the industry. You must stay here. This is one of the best hotels in Chicago. All luxury, all class, and still feels like home. Little touches like picture frames and custom robes make it a luxury home away from your luxury home. Great hotel! You will not be disappointed or fired! Well…maybe the latter.
