Fun, breezy, but a little overrun by kids if that annoys you. The Pineapple Fountain is really something to see!

Going to the park doesn't cost a thing. Kids can splash in the fountain. There are beautiful sturdy shaded porch swings which if you get lucky or patient you can relax in! The views are of the harbor and Patriots Point. You can watch tug boats bring the carriers in and out and see dolphins when you are lucky. There are picnic areas. However access to public bathrooms is VERY VERY limited so be aware of that.

The pineapple fountain is the most photographed spot in Charleston. Perfect spot to relax on benches after taking in other sites. There is a water fountain in this park for kids, big and small, to enjoy and cool off!

This is where the pineapple fountain is located and it's usually full of children treading the water. Worth the walk to check out this quaint fountain!

We love this park that overlooks the Charleston Harbor, where 3 rivers converge to go into the ocean. Grab one of the huge porch swings and rock to your heart's delight. At the end of the deck, you may catch a dolphin sighting. And can see Mount Pleasant, Sullivan's Island, and Fort Sumpter in the distance. There are two beautiful fountains- get in touch with your inner child and run through the shooting water streams. And at the Pineapple fountain, great photo opps abound. Then walk to nearby restaurants and bars, or City Market on East Bay. Then onto Rainbow Row and the Battery.

Beautiful place for a walk during day or at night. Light posts among trees on walkway and the lit up pineapple fountain are gorgeous at night. Nice views of harbor!

The waterfront park and pier is an easy walk with a gorgeous fountain and pier. Many historic homes can be seen from the park. It's also easy to see Fort Sumter, the bridge, and the docked naval ship from the pier.

Nice park to explore in Charleston where you can get sole pretty waterfront views. Spent some time just hanging out in front of the big pineapple statue. Not as pretty as the park down by the Battery, but it's still a generally pleasant place to be and enjoy the day. Tried to hit it around sunset, but didn't quite make it. I'm pretty sure you can get a stunning sunset from that point.

A morning stroll along Waterfront Park is the perfect start to the day. This park is home to Charleston's famous pineapple fountain. It's very family friendly with large green spaces to play, or enjoy a picnic. There's a boardwalk with bench-swings, which is the perfect place to watch the sun set over the Charleston harbor.

It made for an amazing walk during our time there. The views are fantastic, and there are small shops, bars, and restaurants all around. Great southern charm.

Enjoy the beauty of our Waterfront Park, named for our famous mayor Joseph P. Riley. Dolphins frolic in the pristine waters along with egrets and the magnificent blue heron. This park even has a beautiful pier, complete with giant porch swings, tables and so much more. This is a 2 to 3 minute walk from Jacobson Building at 19 Broad and we recommend a daily visit.

Choose a picnic lunch from one of the dozens and dozens of restaurants near the waterfront and in the Market. Sit in a swing on the covered dock, stroll the waterfront, and visit the City Art Gallery located in the center of the Park.
The Park is about a fifteen minute walk from the Philip Porcher House, but there are many delightful distractions in the City Market which is located along the way.

Beautiful location, if you walk a little further down the battery, sometimes you can even see dolphin's! It's a great spot to rest for a minute away from the hubbub of the Historic District.
