You can walk from one end of this bridge to the other and enjoy amazing views of the waterfront, Patriot's Point and all sizes of watercraft.

Take a walk on this 2.5 mile bridge, play in the playground underneath the bridge, or stroll the pier!

Spectacular views of the whole area! Great anytime of day as there is always a breeze. There is a walking/running lane and a biking lane.

The bicycle/pedestrian lane travels along the outer edge of the bridge's tower piers and offers observation sites with benches to gaze out upon the beauty of the Charleston
region.

The bicycle and pedestrian lane is 2.7 miles long (14,400 feet), measuring from Patriots Point Road to East Bay Street.

This bridge is so darn pretty. I can't even begin to explain to you how many pictures I took of it. The traffic is something, but man.

The Ravenel bridge is "among the 3 longest cable main stayed bridges in Western Hemisphere" (per Wikipedia). It connects to/from Mount Pleasant - downtown Charleston and site for the famous Cooper River Bridge 10k run held annually the first weekend in April. Personally, I've done this race and can get windy up there! Yet, it's wonderful spot for outdoor enthusiasts/adventurers to get some exercise. Note: there's not a physical barrier between the pedestrian path and vehicular road.

Iconic bridge spanning the Charleston harbor. Very impressive with its white suspension cables! You can drive it or take the pedestrian walkway.

A beautiful bridge, many people enjoy walking, running or biking it. Not for the faint of heart! It is truly very high, and on a windy day, the middle of the bridge will be even windier.

It's just a bridge. It's a nice bridge, but still just a bridge.
