One of the best restaurants in Carlsbad! The food is always good and the service quick and friendly. I love the classic Mexican decor and ambiance. Great for families and a romantic dinner.

Large bar and dining area inside and out. My favorite is the patio with the fountain. If you can't be in Cabo, come here for good food and ambience. Try the chili Rellanos

The food was average, the enchilada sauce was awesome, the service was better than most and fast. The atmosphere was that of an old traditional Mexican food restaurant .
Parking is hard to find because of the beach community but it's worth a try.

Great service food was pretty good not a mole person would rather have red enchilada sauce but over all experience was good

The food was pretty good (loved my chicken sopes), and with a group of 15 people they delivered it really quickly and hot. Definitely props for that. But the salsa is terrible - it tastes like pizza sauce - and the chips were flat, hard, saltless and tasted like cardboard. Still, I think every one enjoyed their entrees so it's not a bad place by any means.

This place is great! The flautas and quesadillas are the best and the margaritas are pretty awesome. Love the outdoor seating area. Servers aren't overly charismatic or accommodating but everything else is enough to bring me back many more times.

A great place in the heart of Carlsbad to get some Mexican food. They don't take reservations, so if you plan 7pm dinner, don't expect to start eating before 8. But they are popular for a reason. Everything on the menu is delicious.

A favorite of mine. Love the chicken and rice soup with lots of chicken, avocado & cilantro. Delicious chimichangas and fresh tortillas. Strong & yummy drinks! You can take a nice stroll along the beach from the restaurant too.

This place is a Carlsbad staple. If you visit Carlsbad you have to visit Norte. The food is very filling so come hungry, they also have a good selection of margaritas. It can be a little pricy, but you will probably take some of it home.

My whole family loves this place. We've been coming here for decades, back when it was called Fidel's. the inside and outside are very comfortable and pretty. The service has a tendency to be spotty, which is why I gave it four stars. Get the cheese crisp! They are light (in texture, not calories) and crispy with Monterey Jack cheese, which gives it a unique deliciousness. My parents enjoy the margaritas, too.
